Maybe the game will be released in late Spring like Mario Kart 8 is going to be. It would be awesome if it was confirmed for endings of May, since it is my last month of classes.
Lorne Lanning talks about the price of New N' Tasty and the future of the Oddworld franchise. $30 USD seems a bit steep to pay for a remake of a PS1 game, I was expecting around $14.99 USD. Also, Abe's Exoddus HD confirmed!
There also seems to be a timer counting down on the homepage of the Oddworld Inhabitants website, indicating some sort of announcement regarding New N' Tasty in about two and a half hours at the time of this post.

30 dollars? I hoped for 20€ maximum to be honest (Actually with the silly currency convertions that are done in gaming, I'm sure we Europeans will have to pay 30€ for it). On the other hand, I'm sure it will be well spent money. The original game is already quite good and the remake looks gorgeous so far. Lorne also mentioned that they need to sell 250k copies of New 'N' Tasty in order to develop the Exoddus HD, which is something I would really love to see. Afterall, Exoddus is the best title of the franchise.

Well, when you convert $30 to EUR, it is around 21 EUR so I doubt Europeans would have to pay 30 EUR. Even if they do put price 30 EUR, I don't care. I am just gonna go on American Steam and buy two copies of game

I know that, but we Europeans would end up paying more extra 8/9€ compared to the real rate of the 30 dollars that Americans would pay (Aprx. 21/22€).

Indeed, exchange rates don't tend to be as closely adhered to, and it's often that we do end up paying more.

Well that is unfair and it sucks. Not that it matters for me much because I always go for cheapest version of Steam depending price of game, but for non Steam users it is unfair.
Good news for PlayStation platform owners, New N' Tasty supports both Cross-Buy and Cross-Save functionality. New screenshots have been released as well.
I must say, I'm a bit disappointed with the new version of the Stockyard. Namely, my primary complaint is, where are the giant ominous Glukkon-shaped towers!? I loved those in the original area. Also, the sky isn't dark enough. I like the new details added to the ground level, though. I guess when it comes to environments, New N' Tasty will likely be like most remakes, being a bit of a hit-and-miss affair, with some environments outshining the original and some like the Stockyard, failing to capture what made me fall in love with the original in the first place.
EDIT: Never mind, the Glukkon towers are still in the game, they're just not present in that environment, the sky still is far too light, though.
Does anyone here dislike the music? It's been getting some negative reception, but I'm alright with it.

It isn't like the music is from the game itself, relax. It was a good trailer, but I expected the release date to pop. I start to think they'll only give the date in the E3.

I thought using licensed music was going to cost them a lot of money, but it turns out that the singer is a fan. Pretty cool.
Also, they said that the release date would be revealed before E3, so if that doesn't happen, something must have gone wrong.
