I now am going to call the bird-thing a Gluthe.
And the rats? Look in TFC. You'll find one running across the floor.
I haven't seen them in DOTK, though. Could someone post in an image of one in there?
Enlarge the rat and it might look like a Mawpaw.

Anyway it's interesting to see the rat close up... I'm sure I recognise the pattern on its body. But that's what it is - a rat.
