What makes you so sure Rayman Brian Games is canon that you disregard R1 GBC just because it appears to contradict it?
Well there's the problem... anyone know which month RJ and R1 for the GBC were released? It was during the year of 2000... plus Rayman for the GBC was an adaptation. the original released in 1995, and this being released in 2000... so with that, can you honestly say Rayman went and did the same thing twice? Because that's what an adaptation is. They just took rayman 1 and redid it. owo

The Rayman educational games dated back to like, 97 I believe, still have one on MS-DOS.

The time that passed between the release of the two games has no bearing on the in-universe timeline. Anyway, I don’t have any particular problem fitting Rayman 1 and the GBC version into the same continuity. Mario has done the exact same thing in at least ten games I can think of straight off the top of my head, and probably many more. Of course there are problems – the two games’ lack of acknowledgement for each other and each other’s similar events, for one. And the GBC game’s conflicting, Rayman 2-ish representation of the valley. I suppose the canonicity of R2 GBC is out of the question to its bastardisation of the Four Masks of Polokus. RRR1 GBA is still in the running, as is Rayman Junior/Brian Games etc. I could go on but you get the picture.

I think the possibility of R3 GBA taking place between standard R2 and R3 is the most interesting of them all.

My only problem with R3 GBA really was the fact that they focused around the Robot Pirates and Razorbeard way more then Andre. Levels from R2 were brought back too, especially two bosses such as Jano and Razordbeard in his mech. But that's my only issue with it. There barely was anything that had to do with Rayman 3 in it except for some Hoodlums, a mention of Andre, and I believe him getting out of Globox.

NRJF, remember that the GBA/N-GAGE version of R3 is just a spin-off, not properly a sequel of R2. I didn't see that detail as a bad thing.

I never said it was a bad thing, I enjoyed all those games (except rayman 2 for the GBC, never played it) and the fact those are spin-offs proves they may be non-canon.

This is no hard-and-fast rule stating ‘spin-offs are canon’ or ‘spin-offs are non-canon’. You have to look at them on a case-by-case basis.

And don’t bother with R2 GBC, it’s one of the worst games with the Rayman name attached to it.

Good point.

And I'll try anyway, just out of curiosity.

The only things I didn't like in GBC's R2 was some cutscenes artwork, the masks look equal and very different and the ending was effortless...

I can definitely guarantee that the worst Rayman game of all is Rayman 3 for normal mobile phones.

I wonder where this takes place in canon?

Sounds disappointing. :(

In The Sanctuary of Stone And Fire, on the walls in the temple, there are pictures of creatures. A lot of them look like Jano...

This made him tired and in the end weak, and that's why Rayman had a chance to beat him.

These are just some thoughts I'm having, I think they're pretty correct, but of course, correct me if I'm wrong about some things ;)
Good point. He does get exhausted a few times, but you always aim for the staff he holds, not anywhere physically hurting.
Now that I mention his staff, has anyone else noticed sometimes you can actually beat the staff out of his hands? He flails his arms like mad and then calls it back like a Jedi using the force, or something. XD This usually happens to me just before he uses a firestorm.
Yeah, it seems like the staff is connected to his stamina, because he is affected by it when you attack it, and he is knocked out on the last hit and you can hear his staff breaking. It actually kind of reminds me of Starfy 2, where when you damage one of the bosses (There is usually a rider and a mount), both appear to be damaged, and they die together on the last hit.

I have to agree with this. That's probably it.

Has anyone ever noticed how much blue lums resemble Navi from the Legend of Zelda?

I'm sorry, but I'd like to know just what it is about R2 GBC that makes everybody hate it so much. Sure, it had some weird artwork, was kind of glitchy, and simplified the storyline a bit too much, but it was still a fun little distraction. Certainly not a great game, but to call it the worst of them when there are games like Rayman Rush and the DS version of TV Party out there? That's a little harsh. At least this one retained the simplistic gameplay and cute (albeit slightly distorted) graphics of the first GBC game.

Hey I also don't think Rayman Rush is a bad game.

It can entertain a Rayman fan for some hours, but I wouldn't recommend this game to a non-Rayman fan. It would get bored easily, especially in Single-Player.

The cons I have of Rayman Rush is the low framerate (that gives the feeling that characters are running in slow motion) and the random Sound Glitch (when you are hit and you do the optimization, it can trigger a veru annoying sound glitch that disappears by pressing start. But it can shut down the sound effects for the rest of the race.).

Let’s see. First of all, it’s a GBC game, so the graphics are appropriately primitive. Next, it reuses many assets from the GBC version of Rayman 1, making it feel more like an expansion pack than a game of its own. For example, many of the sprites are the same (though they’ve become uglier in the second game), and the music is the same but with an annoying MIDI drum beat added. The game doesn’t even attempt to be a worthy approximation of its namesake; at least R1 GBC displayed artworks that told the story between levels, but R2 GBC used far less, and often reused the same (ugly) artworks again and again. The level design is poor. There are no bosses. I found Rayman Rush enjoyable. Raving Rabbids TV Party is not a Rayman game in any sense.
