Both were pretty toxic, but I don’t think the TQ had ever had any sort of relationship with rayman

Indeed, my first thought on seeing this topic was to redirect to this Rayman-themed one. I won't be merging them though, since this one doesn't follow the strict "answer a question, ask a new one" format.

Another couple of things:

I've mentioned this a few times already (maybe not often enough, and if that's the case, I'm sorry): please, don't double-post in quick succession. If you're the last poster in a topic, and you've something to add, then just use the Edit button (it looks like a pencil at the top-right corner of the post) and just add on whatever you want to say to the end of your previous message (prefixed with "EDIT:" if you want to make clear that it's an addition). (This rule can be relaxed a bit if it's been a long time – i.e. several weeks – since the last post in a topic and you have something of major substance to add.)

It doesn't make sense to make three separate "dumb questions" topics and have people move between them. If someone wants to reply to something said in "dumb questions #1" after everyone has moved onto "dumb questions #2", then what do they do? Revive the old topic that people have stopped using? It fragments the discussion and causes confusion. I'm merging them. Technically I shouldn't, since people were posting in them concurrently, so we'll get a few interspersed messages, but there are so few that it doesn't really matter in this case… But please don't make any more "dumb questions" topics, it doesn't make sense.

For future reference, we do have the stupid question topic I mentioned above, and for more in-depth discussions we have the lore thread.

Those look like they could be symbols drawn / engraved on his chest, rather than hairs. But yeah, now that you point it out, maybe they could be hairs. Symbols probably gel more with his "elemental" essence and his Teensie species though.

He was placed on that side early in the drafting proces for the 2021 Ranklist overhaul, after this suggestion by Elite Piranha. I wasn't fully comfortable with it at the time, but in the end we couldn't find any other way to fit it all together. Rest assured it took a long time, and quite a bit of compromise, to arrive at the final result.

The name is "Glutes" and Polokus was a Glute.

Well, no… Glutes are the birds (as DorkLore pointed out). The lines in the English dub that suggest Globox is a Glute are most likely the result of a misunderstanding by the translator(s). And I don't know where you got the idea that Polokus is the same species!
