The First Movie (Mewtwo Strikes Back) really isn't very good when compared to the others. Mewtwo Returns (the direct sequel to it) is way, way better, as it focuses far less on being some overstuffed 'movie' and actually takes itself seriously and treats its audience surprisingly maturely, while still containing some of the funniest moments I've ever come across in the franchise. I think Mewtwo Returns is one of the best things you can get out of Pokémon, and goes to show why it has such potential to be one of the best fictional franchises to ever exist.

I'd recommend watching movies 3 and 7, those (along with Mewtwo Returns) are the best in my opinion.

I only watched 3 Pokémon movies so far, one of them I don't remember a lot from it but I will do so when I finish to watch the fourth season, but I started to watch the third season today (Jotho Journeys) and in the end I will watch the third movie. :)

Just saw the new Godzilla, pretty good. Don't understand the "Godzilla doesn't appear all that much" arguments (though admittedly, this was my first Godzilla movie), I guess it would of been nice to see him more often. Overall, I recommend it.

This week I watched to amazing movies; The Lego Movie and They Live.

First off, The Lego Movie. It was a great film. Lots of humor, lots of creativity, and has an enjoyable story to it. I did feel like the beginning went by pretty fast, but other than that the Lego Movie was an amazing flick.

The second film I watched was They Live. And I gotta say, this is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen in me life! Sure it starts slow, funny to mention that, but once it hits near the end of the first act that's when the film kicks off. I love the concept of the film and the designs for the aliens. So grotesque that it's actually interesting the more you look at it. Anyways, I definitely would recommend this if you haven't watched it yet.

I watched Puss 'N' Boots in the other day. I liked it a lot. There were typical cat jokes but I liked the plot of the movie, it was entertaining and certainly made me laugh. Puss 'N' Boots is my favourite character of the Shrek universe to be honest.

I loved that movie, I found it extraordinarily creative and underrated, and it took the idea of a political satire fairytale to a whole new level. Humpty Dumpty was brilliant.

I have to agree there, Humpty Dumpty was a great character.

I watched Horrible Bosses yesterday and it was hilarious. I just love the trouble the characters went through to try and kill their bosses.

A Millions Ways To Die In The West.

The movie is fine, story is OK, the way MacFarlane is talking about s*** all the way around is hilarious. Some gags/jokes are very common, some other ones are well found.

I especially liked the reference at the end with Django and the sentence *people die at fair*, or the mayor getting taken by wolves after being left untouched for 3 days in a street.

It's a good movie. Not a hit, but worth a try...

I watched Rango yesterday. I loved it! The ammount of detail put in the textures and the animation quality were really really good. Definitely a purchase to consider when I catch the Blu-Ray movie cheap.

I saw 22 jump street yesterday. Initially, I thought it was going to be very average with a few laughs here and there; however, I was pleasantly surprised overall. Not only was it consistently funny, it was also a better movie than its predecessor in pretty much every way.

So I saw the new transformers. there isn't really much to be said about it honestly, although that Bay listened to most of the complaints and focused more on giant robots and less on the humans. Getting rid of Lebeuf and crew is also a nice breath of fresh air, and the new human lead is far more interesting. one common complaint is that the movie was waaaaaay to long and quite honestly, if you cut a few of the beginning scenes that "explain" the story and 5 of the 20 times the Yeager talks about either his daughter or spouse then the movie wold be worth a 8.75/10.

But in all honesty, the lack of a solid and even remotely interesting female lead and the inane filler kill the movie. I'd give it a 7/10, for having some of the best action sequences featured in a giant robot movie, but somehow falling short in plot (it had potential, and for once since the first movie I found interest in the plot. Having the U.S.A.'s government play antagonist is something I really enjoyed, and I hope its done more often.)

I've watched Heathers a couple of times the past few days. An excellent dish of satire for cynics, and a delicious contrast to the other '80s teen movies.

I just watched Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and I have to say it is better than it's predecessor in pretty much every way. One complaint I've heard about the movie is that the actual hunger games part was boring, but I found it entertaining and between some great acting and cool action scenes it held my interest pretty well. The first half of the movie however is where I thought it really shined. They did a great job of setting the scenes and the part where they announce the Quarter Quell was very well done in my opinion. Pacing overall was much improved too. Jena Malone was great as Johanna and Philip Seymour Hoffman was fantastic as Plutarch. All in all, I definitely recommend it.

I personally thought Cowboys and Aliens was severely underwhelming. The story was pretty paper-thin from what I remember. It did have a few cool effects, but I felt like I was being teased the whole way, like a horse being led by a carrot on a stick. And also (SPOLIERS durr) the female lead is an alien? What? And the invading aliens want our gold? That's their motivation for causing major destruction? And they also kidnap people. Just... ugh. Why couldn't the aliens be more, I dunno, mysterious? Like the cowboys were trying to find out whether they were good or evil or somewhere in between instead of just being evil greedy bastards on par with the Psyclos from Battlefield Earth? The aliens themselves where barely in the movie, and even when they were they were barely any more interesting than the aliens from Signs.

Sorry. I just have very little good to say about this movie. It's just dumb to me.

I've watched The LEGO Movie yesterday night. Everything was awesome (No pun intended!)! I don't think I've ever seen a movie that managed to make me laugh in its first minute (in fact, it managed to make me laugh a lot of times). I loved the movie from the beginning to end, the animation is so good that at first I thought it was stop-motion when it is actually 3D. Even the explosions and water are LEGO-alike! The movie had also an excellent voice-acting (I watched in its original language) and a pretty original story (One of the most original I've seen so far) with a great plot twist in the near end (which made the whole thing to have sense, it was brilliant and adorable). It is a strong candidate for next year's Best Animation Film Oscar, I'm sure of it. What a great movie. It is one of my favourites now that I must definitely purchase when I catch up the Blu-Ray version cheaper. :D I recommend it 100%!
