Most of the versions have unique features but the PlayStation version is probably the best overall.

Exactly, it is better in graphics, sound and nearly everything than the other versions i think. PC and GBA versions was quite hard, while the PSX is bit easier, howewer it isn't easy.

I definitely recommend the PS1 version. From all the versions I've played, the PlayStation version is the best one.

It's a no-brainier that the Saturn would have the best graphics though. Is that true? It isn't, the Jaguar version actually has the best graphics.

Gameboy Advance or Gameboy Colour? If it's the Colour, then it's actually a completely different game.

i play rayman 1 sense 1995 on dos. it still my favurite. magican is my favurite char.

Magician is one of my favourite characters aswell. But the Musician is my first favourite. I only started playing Rayman 1 a couple of months ago, and it's interesting to think that the first Rayman game is actually older than I am!

musician is cool i like him to. graphics rayman 1 is awesome to. i love it.

Yeah, Rayman 1 had the best art and characters in my opinion.

i think rayman 1 graphics is better than rayman origans

This is debatable, but it seems like the only thing Jaguar version done "righter" was mosquitoe coloring. The PS1 version had the recolored small lilypads, and Saturn version had the final boss BG gimmick. On the terms of general sprite looks, I can't guess it all from YouTube movies. I heard Saturn version had weird background choices.

I deliberately ommited Saturn's screenshot effects after reaching the goal, because caring about them is like caring about the loading image deformations in PC version.

Some of the background changes in the Saturn version are great improvements, but most are just stupid. The sound effects are also strange and high-pitched.

I have to say the giant sparkles that come out of the tings in the jaguar version are kinda tacky and distracting.

Not to mention the abrasive popping noises they make when you collect them.

The reason why the ting noise on the Jaguar is so annoying and warbly is actually down to the emulation rather then the actual game. (unless you are talking about the game on actual hardware, in which I take this back. Although I think it's fine on an actual Jaggy) The result is, yes, a giant racket b

Jaguar had the best sprites I meant. The pallet is far more varied and colourful than the other versions.

Yes it does. I think they muted the colours slightly when they made the PC version and then forgot to change them back when they ported it to the PlayStation and Saturn. It's a shame, because I love how the greens and pinks come out on the Jaguar.

And as for my game of Rayman Advance....WHY DID I HAVE TO LEAVE THE HARDEST LEVELS UNTIL LAST? The only levels I need to get Electoons in are The Hard Rocks, Mr. Stone's Peaks, Eat at Joes and the whole of Picture City. You can already see my problem
