Awesome discovery guys, congrats to Droolie on ripping this! Just one question, would it also be possible to see the actual location of the spiral doors on the Isle of Doors?

Also, do you think this technique could be used to provide maps of the 3D levels, or to a lesser extent just of Rayman M levels? It would be more than awesome for RayWiki.

I really wish we could find a copy of the Rayman 3 map and see how it fits together with the Rayman 2 one.

You mean the map that was on the early Rayman 3 website? That would be so great...

Also, thank you Rayrobi97HUN, it looks quite consistent with the original map, except for the location of the Tomb of the Ancients of course.

Can someone who’s collected the three Glob Crystals and played the three minigames in R2 DC give me a bit of information about them? I know the first one is Globox Disc, but isn’t thee second one called Pyralums or something? And isn’t it the same as the Jump Challenge in Rayman Revolution? And what about the third minigame? What’s it called, and is it the same as the Grab Challenge in Revolution? Am I getting any of these minigames in the wrong order?

Minigames Dreamcast:
Pyralums: 2 crystals needed. ( = Jump challange in Revolution: 20 familiar spirits needed )
Weblums: 4 crystals needed ( = Trampoline challange in Revolution: 70 familiar spirits needed )
Glob Disk: 6 crystals needed ( = Glob Disk: 800 lums needed )

Revolution minigames:

1: ????????????
2: Jump challange
3: Waterski challange
4: Race challange 1
5: Grab challange
6: Race challange 2
7: Trampoline challange
8: Ray-Type challange

Glob disk ( 800 lums )
Missle dogfight ( 950 lums )
Baby soccer ( 1000 lums )

This is my minigame list. :D It helps you.

Nope, that sadly isn't possible. :(
The only way I could rip that map is because it only used one single texture for the whole map, which is not the case in Rayman M. We could, however, use 3D Ripper DX in several places of the maps and then piece all of the captured mesh together to get the whole map. I'm not good enough at 3D to even piece those things together though, so I can't do it. :(
