The food in my primary school was awful. They didn't even let you have salt. :x

Our great school has got one kitchen which is used four times per year. And I really LIKE it - because in Poland school dinners are awful. Three times a week - cabbage, one - beets. And what with soups! Horrible.

BTW, in our schools, instead of rats, we have got teachers.

Our school actually had good food. You had to pay for it, but it was really cheap, too.

I remember the food at my high school, their french fries weren't so bad with mayonnaise and ketchup :P

Haha, we had baguettes and salads and all sorts of ice-tea and juice and flavoured milk. On Fridays we had something nice as well, like pizza or waffles or hamburger. The canteen was run by students. We took turns in making food and standing behind the counters, so the "staff" was switched out every week. It was a good system. 83

We had the same system on Vikhammer. The high school cantina is much better, though.

Over here in the primary we either had to use tickets that we were given every week, or we paid. Most of the time it was the latter for me, and I really loved the food [mmm chips, homemade rolls, cakes etc]. Come secondary school, we just had to pay, and again despite being really unhealthy junk food, it was really nice. Their doughnuts and soft cookies were so NOMNOMNOM, as were their cheeseburgers before I went vegetarian.

College food on the other hand, was why I almost always brought lunch.
