My hamster dies too, but that was about 10 years ago.

My hamster shows no signs of stopping, and he's 1 1/2 years old. He's probably going to life for quite a while.

I never had a hamster, I had a rabbit instead (it was really my sister's rabbit). I hated it and it hated me, so we gave it away.
