The glacier level is probably an ocean one since it has water, although it could be food if it's cocktail. About LOTD, I meant to say that in phase 3, there are 2 endings- LOTD and the ending of the game. That's what I gather from the article.
The wiki has talk pages for a reason; use them next time. No, the glacier level is absolutely not the ocean one. It doesn’t have water; it has a lake of lemonade with giant orange slices and ice-cube platforms. It is undoubtedly part of the food world. You are right about the Land of the Dead, but there is no reason to ask for confirmation here when an official source explicitly states such things.

I think that Ancel drew inspiration from Tonic Trouble in the deaths of characters and enemies- In both games they inflate and explode. Also, I think the glacier level (RO) is gonna be the new Band Land in terms of the ice in it, if the ice will be slippery. I wish this game will be like R1, and I don't mean how good it is, I mean that the gameplay in R1 was very unique. There was something in it that made you be very precise and think out of the box (can you say that in English...?) in order to complete it. It seems like RO will be like R2 and R3 in this case, but I hope it'll be more like R1.

I have to agree with you on that one: I have never played a sidescroller game that was as precise as the original Rayman in terms of gameplay.

Apart from the Teensies and Globox, I can't see any similarities to R2 or R3. The humour/style is wacky like the first game, it's 2D (like the first game), the main antagonist is from the first game, you've got virtually the same worlds as the first game, there's electoons in cages and darktoons/antitoons... you get the idea.

The first rayman was really, and I mean REALLY precise, which is one of the reasons it's so hard!

Well they can’t include Robo-Pirate or Hoodlum invasions without completely screwing up the continuity of the series, and for the first time they actually seem to be trying to avoid that. I see plenty of Rayman 2 similarities in the general look and feel of the forest world, which draws as much inspiration from the Woods of Light and the Fairy Glade as it does from the Dream Forest (whose more vibrantly colourful and cartoonish elements seem to have been left at the wayside). The only real similarities with Rayman 3 I can spot are the general slapstick tone, although it’s more playful here and doesn’t have the same emphasis on ‘attitude’.

Yes, but you didn't get my idea. I meant that in terms of gameplay it was a very unique game.

I agree with you. The best example for that RO-R3 connection is of course Rayman's appearance.

I with they would have stuck with the continuity and kept Rayman's hair in the one or two style. It looks more unique and it doesn't screw up space and time.

For some reason wikipedia now says that the game will be released for Windows. The most possible explanation for this is that some idiot thought he saw a confirmation and wrote it, because in the text itself it says nothing, and there is no source for that information. The page has last been updated in July 3rd.
Off topic, I thought I should ask here before I waste my money, should I buy BG&E? I've seen some pretty good reviews of it and the fact that it was made by Ancel is tempting, but I'm not sure it's the right genre for me. Some good advice would be fantastic!

You absolutely should buy it. I’m not sure what ‘genre’ you’ve heard it belongs to, but I can assure you that it’s not what any such label could lead you to expect.

OK, thanks! Maybe I'll buy it in GOG...
Edit: I just noticed that Mr_Shade updated his reply on the password blog post. Seems like it was only a test post. Those bastards at Ubi sure know marketing well. They've starved us for almost a year with no information on the game, then BAAMMM! They start pouring all that stuff in E3, but then the tap is closed and the starvation begins once more. Suddenly, that protected post appears, and turns out to be a setup. FUCK YOU, UBISOFT!!!

Recommended, big time! The game's mainly an open world action adventure, but it mixes several different gameplay elements really well, so it pretty much has something for everyone. This includes combat, puzzles, races, stealth, photography and lots of exploration. The world is very rich and detailed, and it has a lot of depth put into it. The plot is really exciting as well, mainly because of the incredibly memorable characters. And on top of all this, it has that magic Ancel-atmosphere that Rayman 2 has as well.
It has my favourite main cast, my favourite intro and one of my favourite soundtracks ever in a game. So yeah... I guess it's okay.

If I were you I would never trust in Wikipedia when wanting to read about game articles.
By the way, I never played BG&E too. Would you guys recommend it to me?

To everyone who wants the game to be like R1, if you want a game just like R1 then just play R1! All I want from RO is a unique experience from a game, a good storyline, and some wacky comedy!

And that is...?
About BG&E, thanks! I'm pretty sure I'll buy it now. I bought a new computer yesterday with Windows on it, so no more problems with compatibility for me!
Edit: Does anyone else have problems with the RO blog and website? They won't load to me. Ha Ha Ha! REVENGE IS MINE!!!
Second Edit: I did some stuff I'm not proud of and made the website load, but the blog and the facebook page won't because of a problem in Ubi's website. Those crafty people are no match for ME!!!
