The wars are forever, from the days of Nintendo vs SEGA to today, the next gen will only spawn a new battleground.

Indeed they are, but there is a new enemy: The Ouya! Yes! I'm now a Sylkin!

An opensource console running Android, if I recall correctly, not exactly going to cater to the hardcore audience, but who's to say, what with recent emerging technologies...

Its basically an Endless war. The new consoles come out. Just walks into the battleground. Its Always something. PS3 vs Xbox 360. PSMOVE is a ripoff. PC vs MAC. Apple vs Android.

I myself is not one of the soldier. (Hater)

So you like cartoonish graphics and dislike everything else.
I find most PS3 games to have horribly dull graphics.
If you say one more thing this stupid, I don't know what I'll do, but it won't be pretty.

I'm not a Sony fanboy, myself, but you've got to admit that this looks tasty! That's sci-fi coming to the consoles themselves! I love the feeling you'd get by holding one of those glass controllers; I could already imagine them coming apart and simply hovering together as separate pieces of the same controller.

But you will be when you're doing it... you're always pretty. :fou:

@Shrooblord, now if only this were confirmed real, it's a bit odd but unique looking at the same time.

Chances are I won't be buying any next-gen consoles for a long time.
I'll keep my vintage games for now and continue collecting. Pretty sure I already devoted 479$ into my snes collection.

I think I'm good too. I've got my trusty Xbox360, which is I suspect one of the earliest models (and its age is showing...), my lovely PCs and a SEGA MEGA DRIVE II. What else do I need! Oh, and to top it off, a PS1, should I feel the need to go a little Sony. I think next-gen consoles will only interest me once they add virtual-reality technology; you know, that you really get the feeling that you're in the game. However, I probably wouldn't want them to become too immersive - imagine playing a shooter and litterally thinking you were being shot at. You'd go insane! Or you'd know you're good material to join the army - there's another option.

I betrayed Sony when Sierra and Activision killed Crash Bandicoot. That made me lose all interest in Playstation.

That look sexy.
Rayfist wrote: Chances are I won't be buying any next-gen consoles for a long time.

Me neither. Ive got my trustful companions my PC and PS3. Im pretty sure i will keep them for a long while before i ''upgrade''. But the only console that looks like something i want soon is the PsVITA. Not a sony fanboy my self. but still it looks good. And some good games are coming for it as well.

what you mean. How did they ''kill'' him. Aren't the official makers Naughty Dog? Because they've been busy with The Last of Us. Which looks pretty good in the matter of fact.
There's also some rumors he will appear in Playstation all stars

You think so? He did specifically complain about 'realistic graphics', and the only examples of 'creative' graphics he cited were cartoonish.
Coincidence, I guess. One doesn't neccesarily differentiate a game for it's "cartoonish" graphics. They're games, good games, or bad games. Just that.
Considering the fact that many of the greatest games of all time have been first-person shooters with realistic graphics, I'm not sure if I see the point
*sigh* Am I the only one here who is almost 20 years old and can't see what's the big deal with fps games?

These two statements contradict themselves back-to-back. It's like saying that a baby with a scimitar in its head does not have a scimitar in its head.

They made two atrocious games: Crash of the Titans and Crash Mind Over Mutant. Both games have changed from platformer to action games, have weird creatures you have to control to fight with them and ended up making the saga really boring and crappy. They also redesigned all the characters when their appearance was already epic and should've never been touched. Also the personalities of the characeters were altered. Both games were such a commercial fail and even Crash fans hated them.

Twinsanity was published under Sierra as well, mind you.

I'm not a fan of FPS games either, but I think that the quality of the game and graphism are totally different things.

I see. I know your pain. Activision killed Spyro when they made Skylanders.

That as a pretty good game (though I hated the music). But the Titans were a really bad idea. And after the commercial failure of that game, I still don't understand why Activision decided to keep them in Mind over Mutant. The only positive thing that game has is that its abbreviation is Mom LOL

Perhaps games that abbreviate to "Mom" are cursed to be bad, Metroid: Other M anyone?

The sad thing is there are not so many good WiiWare titles. This is probably because of this "data limits" from Nintendo. Luckily this is changed in the eShop and now there's even the option to download the retail games (at least one for now).
