The first 1 was probably the closest you would get to the 'original ' feel of Rayman.

The only Rayman rabids game I played was the 1st one on the wii.
And the Gba one.
And thee 1st one and TV party on NDS.
I was thinking about getting Tv party for Wii.

The first one on Nintendo DS and WIi were quite fun.

That may be so, but the last Rabbids game to feature Rayman came out about five years ago, to hold a grudge now is practically pointless given that both franchises have gone their separate ways and as such, the events of the RRR. trilogy probably never happened in the main series.

My emulator was highly offended that I had it make contact with that game. It's easily the worst DS game I've ever played.... if RRR2 DS didn't exist.

I gave up on the Rabbid series after TV party, I think Raving Rabbids 1 and 2 were decent, but TV party (Wii version) to me was just outright boring, I have nothing against the other Rabbid titles if anyone else here on the forums enjoys it, however even Rabbids go Home, Travel in time, etc. just all really felt not so special to me.

Yes, RRR TV Party looks awful.

Nintendo Ds emulator is TERIBLE.
I actually have it for a NDS.
DS isn't the best emulated.

The emulator was fine. The game was horrible.

For a "rabid DS" game it was fine.

Ah, hello RAPS2, I see you've returned too.
I vaguely remember playing both RRR2 and TV Party on DS, they weren't too shabby from what I remember.

You haven't offended your emulator with any of the imagine games... I dare you to. Especially Babies and Wedding.

The only game inside the RRR series that I didn't play yet is the DS version of TVParty (I'll try to grab a copy anyday), but honestly, I don't think the DS games aren't that bad. The first one, Ubisoft could have done an effort to improve the graphical and sound quality but the gameplay is ok. It is always better to fight with Sergueï in the end than escaping the dungeons and getting stuck in a hole. The sequel consists in minigames, and although the sound quality isn't quite improved from the last time, I think the minigames were ok for the use of the touch screen in general (I would only advice using the fingers instead of the stylus in very concrete minigames but that's other story), and I like how there's actually an ending cutscene. One of the major defects of the Wii version is the lack of an ending cutscene, you simply have no idea of what happened next unless you played the DS game. The most enjoyable RRR game is unquestionably the GBA version, that is more close to the Rayman 4 and yet features R2 characters in the cast.

After those, I only own Rabbids Go Home (Wii) and Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time Collector's Edition (Wii). The last one is in my black list of "Worst Buyings I've Ever Done In Gaming". Model a minigame skeleton, use cool textures and in the next day lets use the same skeleton, changing a coordinate and another, blend together with other cool textures, and presto: you have 5 "different" minigames that nobody will notice. One of the fewest good things in the game are the graphics and the historical research done, but among the worst things I point is the terribly programmed Just Dance section, insane number of trophies impossible to get them all, super minigame recycling, shallow longevity, limited online gameplay and very few use of the Wii Motion Plus accessory (Its really not worth at all buying the accessory in purpose for this, get Wii Sports Resort instead). Concerning Rabbids Go Home for the Wii, the gameplay is original but its ends up too much repetitive, too long and frustrating (Like, going everywhere you can and reaching the toilet seat with 3 missing objects after playing the level for more than 10 minutes). What about the said "unlocked level after the ending cinematic that is impossible to reach too"?. I also didn't like what they call the co-op mode, the second player almost does nothing. NOTHING!

Since these two, along with the bad experience I had with RRTIT, and reviews of later games that I read, I simply stopped following the Rabbids games. I swapped their games for their comic books, that are a thousand times more enjoyable. And I'm not kidding in here.

The Rabids on their own wern't bad.
The fact they stopped platform Rayman games for quite along time is why most Rayman fans dislike them.

They are OK as a single series, but the games have always been flawed and now that they've been around for a while the jokes are getting a bit repetitive.
