Rayfan, i thinked the upcoming soundtracks should looked like the soundtracks from LoSTEN or LoSDoTD soundtracks (i don't know what genre is...)

Just before I read the level descriptions, RayFan, will there be any storyline involved in their text? I wish not to be spoilt by anything gameplay-wise - I don't even know who any of the characters are but Rayman and Mosquito! I've been doing a good job in avoiding spoilers it seems.
Then again, if there is a necessity to be spoilt, I will read the level descriptions. I am of course more willing to help than I am unwilling to be spoilt.

Kinda sorta maybe. I had to insert a bit of story telling - though in very vague detail - for the order to make sense, as it's not a hundred percent linear.

Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night and Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. I think.
Those games were the worst in the Spyro series though, in my opinion.

Well I'm a big Spyro fan, those games were still good for me. I have to say though, A hero's Tale and Enter the Dragonfly were the shittest ones for me. I hate how they've reduced him to a mere 1 in 30 characters in Skylanders. I don't have the game, but I'm pretty sure the game doesn't even have anything to do with him.

Skylanders is a sypro spin-off..... And sypro is in it...

How can you be sure it's a spin-off? Oh I forgot to mention, 3DGuy, still waiting.

When was the last Spyro game made?

Not counting Skylanders, the last one was The legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, which came out 21st of October, 2008.

Well, I found a useful tutorial on importing and texture mapping but there was a problem. the version the tutorial was in is 2011, and I have 2012. The problem with this? The Material panel turns out to be a whole lot different than 2012. When I was told to select something in the Shader Basic Parameters, I came across the horror that in my version, Shader Basic Parameters does not exsist at all. The same thing goes for many others mentioned in said tutorial.

So, I'm not sure what to do next... Switch to '11 and lose my progress, (assuming you can't edit to FBX/OBJ imported files) or keep '12 and continue being confused because apparently the versions are too different from one another.

This is exactly why I don't use 2012, I hate the new material editor. It's about the most confusing and inefficient thing ever. But yes actually, you can save files in. 2011 format I believe.

Oh, good. And yeah, I've been busy this week. Hadn't had much time to explore the program more.

I need to know one more thing, 3DS Max, or 3DS Max Design. Which to take? (what are the differences, if at all? I want to make sure I have the right program this time.)

Design is for architects and isn't for our purpose of the program at all. Don't use it, I would say. I don't really know what differences there are, but I think regular Max is more games and movies orientated, while Design is, as the name suggested, more honed in on designing, architectural things that is.

Perfect, I decided to download the original max anyway. I just need to convert the files I made before I install it.
