LOL I wasn't "bombarding" them with tweets, I just posted it once. Bombarding them would be spam and I don't spam others. I believe someone made petition already.

You did, however, say that we should "constantly bug" them. ;)

I meant one at a time. Bunch of people just write them about Rayman as DLC but not multiple times in a row.

I believe that constant bug will only irritate the crew and creating a greater barreer to the fans in future, which I don't want that to happen either.

My bad. I meant that to apply to any one who tweets them requesting Rayman DLC. Anyways im sure Rayman is a likely candidate for DLC. He his a industry icon.

I never looked at it from that perspective. I always think that if demand is big for anything video game related, companies see opportunity to make some money and will usually please the fans. Take a look at Oddworld Inhabitants. They always listen to fans demand. For years, people have been trying to get Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath on PC and Oddworld Inhabitants after reopening studio and spending many months porting them released them for PC since many fans of originals never got to play them due to lack of having Xbox.

Now perhaps the issue is that Rayman is not popular at all in Japan and majority haven't heared of him so DLC would not be profitable for neither Ubisoft or Nintendo since majority of Smash fans are Japanese. I still think it is worth to try though.

It would introduce a lot of people to Rayman. Before I played melee I had no idea who most of those characters were.

@DandyGuy Funny enough the same thing happened with me back in the original Super Smash Bros.

@OCG The thing is that Oddworld Inhabitants were working with Electronic Arts before and the relationship got into a big mess because of several issues concerning work, business, etc. That's the problem of working with a big company because it is harder to communicate with the fans, not to mention that they need to justify a full retail price when games come out. If New N Tasty was on the hands of EA I'm pretty sure the game wouldn't cost 20€. And the mess wasn't just with EA, but also Microsoft because for some odd (no pun intended) reason they refused to port the Xbox exclusives to Xbox 360. Oddworld Inhabitants decided to move on to an independent company, J.A.W., which is much smaller and there are not as stuck as they were before with EA/Microsoft. I do believe that helped them to communicate more with the fans and to focus better in their goals. And it definitely worked because I already played enough time in Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty and it is really a game that can put other game companies blush of shame.
