Oh Nintendo you backwards chum you. :3
Either Nintendo are excruciatingly cheap or they're the biggest bad of slowpokes I've ever seen.spiraldoor wrote:According to the rumoured specs, the Wii U will be about as powerful as an Xbox 360, meaning that Nintendo fans will be screwed for the next generation too.

We don't know specs of the next Xbox yet. Seeing modern PC specs, it is quite possible it won't be much better than 360 in CPU/RAM department (although we may be quite sure full-fledged tesselation and geometry shaders will be inside this time), so while I think it will be faster than Wii U, it's not necessary the gap will be as big as it currently is.spiraldoor wrote:According to the rumoured specs, the Wii U will be about as powerful as an Xbox 360, meaning that Nintendo fans will be screwed for the next generation too.

There are ways, but it makes the interface look stretched, so I prefer to keep it as it is.ropmop1 wrote:Hey all,
Is there is any way to make Rayman 3 PC run in a widescreen resolution?
Yup, though as Spanex said, it really screws up the interface:ropmop1 wrote:Hey all,

I'm sorry to say it's like that with all cutscenes.R@yman1995 wrote:Well that widescreen hack worked. Apart from the fact the videos are missing now, like the opening UbiSfot video and the cutscene at the start of the game are just black screens with sound now

Oh well, something similar can be done with Rayman 2, and cutscenes are not screwed up because of it, feel free to try it out.R@yman1995 wrote:AwwMaster4lyf1 wrote:I'm sorry to say it's like that with all cutscenes.R@yman1995 wrote:Well that widescreen hack worked. Well, I remember them from memory anyway I guess. I'll just picture them in my head
Indeed, do you think it may be possible to get FMV's to be viewable in widescreen for Rayman 3?stan423321 wrote:Well, the reason is obviously R2 has no FMVs, all cutscenes are rendered in real-time there.
Not without modifying code that we don't currently have access to. Rayman 3 HD may aid us though.Master4lyf1 wrote:Indeed, do you think it may be possible to get FMV's to be viewable in widescreen for Rayman 3?stan423321 wrote:Well, the reason is obviously R2 has no FMVs, all cutscenes are rendered in real-time there.

Gosh, is it! And here I was, in the middle of the largest Rayman fanbase, oblivious to such a fact!Spanex wrote:Yeah, pretty lame. All the guy said is that Rayman 3's gonna be in HD. WELL THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW :p
