Hmm, I always did wonder why some folks end up being extremely energetic when they don't get sleep, always seemed a little contradictory to me.

I'm the complete opposite, I get sluggish and grumpy when I don't get enough sleep. I suppose it's not contradictory from an evolutionary point of view, Ad's more likely to survive in the wilderness than someone like me.

It's definitely a thing, usually not until you've been awake a while, and when you're on no sleep rather than not enough sleep.
