tech, enough. In the past, there were some conflicts, which seemed to make you appear like a nasty person and you think that's all we see you as now. That's not true. Every time that we use one of your posts as an example, you shoot into the defensive, calling quoting you 'unnecessary' and saying "Why would you quote me if you might as well have quoted one of the others?"
We're not making an example out of you. We're simply quoting what you said, taking your statements as an example. If you don't want people to respond to the way you speak, then don't. Yes, saer may as well have taken Addy's or my posts as examples, but the fact of the matter is that he didn't - he took yours. And that's fine. That's not because it was you, that's not because we think you're an asshole or the one who makes his arguements in the most harmful way - that's just coincidence, I'm sure.

And saer
saerleiya wrote:I'm not talking about 'ganging-up' against someone. I want to clarify: even if you are simply expressing what you think about the matter, that fact it's piling up can be rather harsh even if it's not meant to be like that.
That's exactly what I meant with 'ganging up on him' and I'm pretty sure we all got that. If someone voices their opinion and others' voice theirs, you shouldn't, as a person, feel discouraged in voicing your own too, just because it happens to coincide with what others said too. You can agree with people. You can discuss with those you disagree with and try to see why they have the opinions they have and how they logically support those opinions (why you'd want to is a whole different matter that I'll leave for another conversation).

But since OCG already said he won't change his mind to begin with and clearly has no problem discussing things with others, see here:
OldClassicGamer wrote:I shall be always expecting same every time I post unpopular statement and I am aware of that. I simply found the news article about Marvel planning to find who leaked trailer, decided to share it and say how I feel.
, I feel like we shouldn't be making such a big point about this. OCG said what he wanted to say and wanted us to do the same. We did, he read it, he replied, that's that. He didn't feel anything wrong with our replies and we didn't with his (other than having a different opinion and not understanding how he reinforces his exactly).

There's no need to defend someone who isn't being attacked.
There's no reason to defend yourself against someone who's not attacking you.

This statement would only be justified if it didn't stem from a misquote, but unfortunately it does, and a very misleading one at that:
technology4617 wrote:(though, of course, I don't actually think that)
This bit has been removed from the excerpt you quoted for some reason, which is a shame as it completely addressed the above. What you feel and what you think can be completely different, and having been criticized numerous times on my arguing style by you in recent past, it's honestly a little hard not to feel like I'm being painted in a bit of a negative light when it's brought up by someone completely different. This may not be rational or what I actually believe (case in point), but it's still an unpleasant feeling nonetheless, and one I thought I'd be honest about, hopefully without getting a reply like the one above.

I mean, I appreciate the core sentiment, but at the same time, I hate being accused of believing something that I've made clear that I don't.

Though it might come across as though I'm doing the latter, I was moreso defending myself due to the former. I just thought that it was pretty unfair for my post to be called out for no other reason than that I was sleeping while the discussion started. :P I also didn't really think that the conversation would have gone into this tangent when I responded, either.
Shrooblord wrote:If you don't want people to respond to the way you speak, then don't.
Ironically, I was actually worried my post was too harsh and was concerned about posting, and showed it to someone else before I ended up doing so.

While not offensive I'm surprised you're being singled out by someone on your account not having any deviations, most other empty accounts don't get that... Besides most people who don't have drawings usually filler up on fanfiction or photography instead.

I know exactly how you feel Omar, I suck at drawing too.
I also know who is the other person from this screenshot. Dunno why you censored the name on the screencap though.

Yeah, probably better in the glitches thread, I'm getting ready to go out, so I'll leave it in the hands of my peers to decide what to do.
