It'd be ultra cool if I could get the original monitor for this thing.

Don't open it! :paranormal:

Seriously though, think of the value it would have in 10 years time still boxed. Money, dear boy.

Yeah, take everyone's advice and don't open it. I'm sure you bought it purely for ornamental purposes. :P

Yeah, it practically is like a whole new machine, and it powered up for the first time here... Apart from when it was manufactured at the factory.

Only thing that it needs is a new CR2032 battery for the CMOS memory. That's an easy fix.

Kind of seems pointless to have opened that if you already had a modern PC.

Why? Old shit is awesome; I'm thinking of converting one of my old, shitty desktops to a W98 machine, provided it will work, since it will allow me to play older PC games perfectly, and submit runs of said games to SDA as there's no emulation involved.

You know you can play windows 95-98 games perfectly on a windows 7 machine if you go to your task bar and shut off "explorer" right?

Not by a long shot, not even counting DOS games, which won't work at all without emulation.

I don't know about you guys, but I hate keeping things in the box. I would never want to keep something in mint condition. NEVER.
