Hey guys I got a technical problem and I need help
I just got an abandonware copy of Rayman Gold but whenever I boot it up the game runs REALLY slowly and i get the sound effects but no music and with the sound effects I get clicks coming out of the speakers I would finally like to play this game fast and with decent sound one or the other both would be best any ideas?

I'm afraid that DOSBOX doesn't run really well in conjunction with XP. Rayman gold is not actually compatible with XP either. Unless there is a patch. and the sound problem can only be solved if you use an older version of the sandblaster sound software.

well it runs the old prince of Persia from 1989 just fine with sound and on XP

Could you give me the link to the rayman gold game please?. I might be able to diagnose the problem in more detail.

I will install it and see if it works on mine. I am on XP too. It may be a problem with you computer.

It maybe but I don't know why, its a pretty good computer

How did you install it?, did you use UTorrent?

To be honest the readme that came with it said to install it from the most recent patch which was included
