I retract the statement I made earlier about users being allowed to not vote for groups if they don't want to. If you're going to vote, you have to vote in both groups.

There's always a way to choose. Not being able to choose is more a matter of being afraid to let yourself know you've chosen someone than it is literally being unable to. You can, and so can everyone.
