So I'm sure some of you guys know about that big character roster leak that was going around the past few days, depicting the 3DS character select screen with new characters and veterans that have not yet been announced. I didn't talk about it here because the photos looked really sketchy and blurry, and were inconsistent with some things we already knew about the game.

Well, the leaker released some videos, and that character roster leak is real. The videos have actual gameplay of three of the unannounced characters, and there is no conceivable way I think they could have faked that. The leaker works for the ESRB, and they've already been sent their review DVD (the ESRB don't actually play games, as they state on their official website - developers just send them a DVD depicting a bunch of key content on the game), which is how they got the footage.

I won't go into those characters or post the videos just now because I know some people don't like spoilers for Smash (some of these characters could be secrets and may not get trailers before release), but Rayman is not among the characters in the leak. Though I believe the leaker claimed that the leak still doesn't show everyone.

The video leak is totally legit, but why fucking Bowser Jr? Enough with the Mario Characters.

Still no signs of characters from the Mother series. This roster so far (Aside from my nigga, Megaman, and Pac-Man) is looking kind of disappointing. The villager is cool and all but I never really wanted to play as him, he seems like he'd be better as an assist trophy, same with Wii Fit trainer. I loved Palutena in Kid Icarus Uprising, but never have I said "I'd love to play as her". God, this roster is so lacking, where's Solid Snake, Ness, or LUCAS for that matter? How about Wario at least? I'd rather have him than Bowser Jr. And instead of giving us a new Pokemon trainer they reduce the Pokemon trainer to just one Pokemon (Charizard)

Ness is in the game, he's in the roster leak. So is Wario.

Roster got even better now, though. I love what they did with Bowser Jr. And even if I didn't, it at least shuts up the people who were whining that Rosalina "stole his spot".

Dr. Mario was unnecessary, though. He should have been an alt. I could take Lucina because she is at least a different person to Marth in the FE games and has her own fanbase. Dr. Mario is just Mario though.

He's invincible, and his only attack is to laugh in your fucking face. Forever.

Considering how the roster slot says "Duck Hunt" and not "Mr. Peepers" (the dog's official name), and the render also depicts a Duck, I'm guessing that they will play as a pair, kinda like Rosalina & Luma. If not that, maybe the Ducks help Mr. Peepers fight like the Pikmin help Olimar.

Why is Mega Man's logo a mere generic cog graphic?

Hmm, I'm not so well versed with Mega, what icon would be apt for his franchise?

I always thought his helmet, the Dr. Light logo, or an E-Tank would be best for his logo. I know the logic behind the cog one is "he's a robot", but it's really bland and isn't actually a symbol used within the Mega Man games, as far a I know.

Yeah, an E-Tank would have been better suiting. Although, the helmet would have been more suitable than the E-Tank.

There was a big booth for Smash at Pax, but nothing really particular outside of being able to try the game on the different platforms.

So, now we know MarioKart will have several DLC's, perhaps Smash Bros will get some too? (with Rayman? )

I am still pissed off as hell that Mario Kart 8 is getting DLC but not Pac-Man

If not DLC, for MK8, is it too much to ask this game to be ported to Wii U???

I mean I didn't play it since it is exclusive to Arcade but seeing the trailer and gameplay, it looks more fun to me than MK8 to be honest. It also has Ash Katchum's Japanese voice as a narrator during races

As for Rayman as a DLC, that is second option if he is not locked character in the game that Sakurai won't announce and keep it as secret.
I can see it happen if demand is good but these dumbass Nintendrones keep saying that he is not even worthy being with other "superior" Nintendo characters. I mean I know a lot of great Nintendo fans and some of them are really good friends of mine, but some of the fanboys on internet are clearly damaging Nintendo's reputation.

I'm opposed to those ideas. Sorry fellas, but I think Mario Kart, on Nintendo home consoles and handhelds, should only be for Nintendo characters.
