Does anyone think Crash has a chance to return, or is he truly lost forever like Jazz Jackrabbit?

Oh wow never expected anyone here to know that game! OCG, Jazz has lived on! The people behind Unreal Engine are Epic Games, the same creators that made Jazz Jackrabbit. They were in the process of developing/have developed a mobile game starring Jazz - there's project files, previews and video of that present in (the documentation of) Unreal Engine 3.

Also, the JJ2 community is still alive at jazz2online.com, if you're interested. Online games and Anniversary Bashes are still very much present, and there's people hacking/modding new versions of the Level Editor day after day. Swing on by, if you like.

Im surprised he hasn't been turned into a Skylanders figure yet to be honest.

Thanks for information dude. I might check out community once, but still, I would not be active there like I am here. Online is fun and I wish to find someone to play with.

There was an interviewer asking will that happen and answer was no because "Crash is apparently a lot different then Skylanders"

Actually I never even joined the forum. I've been playing Jazz 2 (also online) way before I was a forumgoer. I would love to play with you some time, but I'd have to figure out how to get my rotten port forwarding to work again...
I should try out the new Level Editor (it keeps getting updated) and see what's new...

I remember Jazz!

Christ, Rayfist, you're very decent-to-good at writing essays about stuff. I triple dawg dare you to give me a subject I'd have to write a long wall of text on! I wanna test myself as well.

I saw these videos already. Too bad that people who are doing this are fanboys who blocked me long time ago. Still, this game cannot even be compared to Rayman ROTD.

Indeed. Crystal Wrath still looks truly nice though, I can see they are putting a lot of effort into it.

It's also being made in CryEngine. I also cant pick a side between crystal wrath and ROTD.

I sadly have to agree with this, and it is a shame those guys are ignorant fanboys (then again most of people fro CB fanbase are).

Wow, it looks impressive for a fangame. :P It reminds me of ROTD.

If this model of Crash is compared with Crash of The Titans model, I think it is obvious which one is better :P

The model in Crystal Wrath reminds me of Crash Twinsanity.
Also...
The one type of CB fangames I hate are...
THE 2D GBA CB GAME-STYLED ONES.
They mostly suck anyway and take not much effort to make. Most of the time they're just remakes of the other games but 2D.

These are my favourite 2D Crash fangames

Wait how are they ignorant fanboys? Just curious.

They blocked me over opinion in past, they think Crash Mania is not allowed to have any mistakes and that they are always right, and they will start arguing with you if you try to talk normally with them. One of them even made a fake logo in 2011 and said it is new game. I just don't like them. If you do, I am ok with that. But even if they are like that, one thing must be admited. They are good at making games.

Can you link us to the evidence? I'm not denying your accusation, I'm simply curious, as that's not how they came across to me.

Where did you obtain that information? It sounds familiar, but after searching, I can't find any official statement on that.
Rayman fan2000 wrote:I also cant pick a side between crystal wrath and ROTD.
Ew, please don't even think about picking sides, that's just wrong on so many levels. Besides, I've even thought about contacting them to see if I can help them with some 3D modelling perhaps; any friendly establishment would be excellent.

Ok, I don't know if you will believe me or not, but there was a long rant on CB fanbase made that had reallty good points on YouTube, but that got removed sadly. Only other thing that I can suggest you do is check their forums itself and you might see dark side of it, but it is a shame rant got removed because it had all the points said. Maybe the rant was flagged by Crash Mania users.

There are some more rants and this is second best I could find. It is not directly rant on those people who are making game but it does criticise fanbase in general:

This rant has been made by a very good friend of mine
