I lost all my lives twice on the first level in R1 but failed to beat the magician minigame because my reaction time is really slow on PC and I’m more of a joystick&buttons person. I hope you do well on Redemption!

Madder has also found an adorable detail in that key art, you can see some drawings of the Eiffel Tower and the Milan Cathedral, that for sure are referencing the collaboration between Ubisoft Paris and Ubisoft Milan!

Thx !, Rayman 1 has some pretty similar orders to Origins, so I'm not disoriented

Is your problem the controls or the gameplay? Mine was both

I’m trying it currently and stuck in the Bzzit fight

You can play with a controller though. I did this for every Rayman game on PC, including Redemption and Ryemanni's other fangames.
Might just need some tweaking depending on the game and controller, and some like Rayman 2 need an unofficial patch by the community.
This made the PC versions a cakewalk for me.

I clicked on "Classic" difficulty, what does that mean ?

It means you start with the classic amount of lives, 3 or 5 I forgot

Basically, Classic replicates Rayman 1 by giving you limited lives. Though, you can get Game Overs infinitely when you run out of lives in any mode, unlike the original game.
Casual on the other hand gives you infinite lives (as a result, picking up Lives ingame will reward you with extra Tings instead).
So it's a bit like the "Retro" and "Modern" options in Crash Bandicoot 4.

And then there's Demise which gives you only 1 HP (though Betilla can still give you more life points later), removes the Checkpoints and Cheat Codes, and replaces the Big Power power-ups and Lives by rigged ones which damage you instead. As someone currently in the middle of my first Demise playthrough, I don't recommend that mode at all unless you want to experience true suffering.

Hey does anyone know how to get the 99 lives on PC? It’s tough only having 2

You have to enter the corresponding cheat from this list depending on your version:

If you're playing the GOG/Ubisoft launcher version, it should be raylives if I remember correctly. But you may have to replace a few letters if you use something else than a QWERTY keyboard.

But real VIDEO GAMERZZZ don't need such cheats, right?

I am using the GOG version, and no, I’m not a real gamer if it took me 2 hours to beat level 2
