In all seriousness though, you seem to be overreacting, after all it could be worse, your username could be used as an insult like mine was a long, long time ago (about a month, maybe less). besides, thats just how RPC is, everyone here are like the NPC's in zelda games, they're all people that are all bizzare in their own little way.
You have no idea how close I was to calling him a Buildersith 2.

But that's why this community is so awesome, we actually have action within a varied community.

You know what, I'm guessing that within a couple of months he will have calmed down and he'll be back on the forums, posting away to his heart's contempt.
And seriously, you do seem to be taking the Rayman series way too seriously. I know it's kind of a "Pot, meet kettle" situation here, I'm well known for putting people off of anything I'm currently into because of how unbelievably obsessive I can get over it, but I don't get highly zealous when someone offers a different opinion to mine.
Now I'm very prone to misinterpreting things people have said to me (and it usually makes me feel like a complete plank whenever it happens too), and I can also get over-protective when someone attacks something I like (nearly lost a friend over that one), and I also tend to do a "Boris" (Noun, when someone tries to say something but ends up putting his foot in it, usually ending up with a completely different interpretation from others), and I know it's caused by stress for me. So what I'm going to say here is: Go off of Pirate Community for a while, and take some time to calm down. I don't think your account's going anywhere, so come back and join us when you've calmed down.
Well, that's two members lost so far because of the accidental reveal of the RO sequel. Coincidence? Or conspiracy?
...We may never know......Or maybe we will because it was actually completely a coincidence after all.

There's no reason to leave the place, Mammothphant. Just calm down and try to be less emotive.

I saw the gameplay footage from Rayman Origins 2 and I think it looks promising. The idea of being available to compete against other people online is a very neat concept. Also, the info that have been leaked so far tells about a game that is more darker than the first one. That is thing that I have been waited for since the cancellation of Rayman 4.

I'm too hyped for E3 now :o

@Mammoth Very mature, dude. Come back when you feel more calm, ok?

Now concerning the link, I also don't find it a trailer but more like a quick demonstration of content. I'm glad I'm not the only one that found the music wierd.

I think that the music is just a temporary tune they made up for this demonstration. They'll probably change it.

Why do I get the feeling this game will be more minigame-based than story-based? :(

Please don't scare us like that, that's not funny. My pet elf was killed by the longterm effects of minigame-based video games.

I don't think so, this game looks too Rayman 2 to be like that. They probably made this to add some new features to the series .Some reviews were complaining about the lack of online, well, not anymore! however, I feel bland the idea of a ghost mode... what about a real time race where you can actually slap your enemies to stun their run? like some sort of Rayman M in 2d, and that would be just the multiplayer mode, not including the epic story mode with an amazing plot and the 60 unlockable characters with 10 Globox Skins, 10 Rayman Skins, 20 Teensie skins and 20 returning characters .... the game disc couldn't resist so much badass-ness

You know that they would have to draw tens of thousands of sprites and rig every one of those separately? Introducing 20 different characters would probably delay the game for another three years - I don't even think there are twenty vastly different characters in the Rayman universe. If you wanted to see all the Hoodlums, they would probably all just be separate skins, which is still a shitload of work considering that each one looks fairly different.

I wonder if RO2 will be supported by Texmod. Good chance it will.

This looks like more of the same crap; 'not-really-platformish-but-more-speedrun-like-ish'. Yeah, I realise this ain't a true trailer, but still...

How the hell can you be from two countries? I understand if you were born in one and moved to another, but there's no way you can be from two countries.

OT: It's too early to judge, but it still seems like there are a lot of similarities between Origins and this one. It's likely that much will be changed, but I'm still slightly worried that this might not be able to stand at its own, and instead fall into Origins' shadow.

Bro, you quoted the wrong person.

Hmm, maybe he was assembled in a multi-corporate factory line, you know, like most "low-functioning" Chinese halfbreed wind-up dolls..
