Hey Rayfan, I had an idea for a screen you could show when Rayman lost all his lives or something like that which I was initially gonna upload, but until I do that I'll tell you what it is! Picture this:
Rayman in the center of the screen on a floating platform surrounded by darkness, on etiher side of him and the text 'Game Over' above his head are large versions of Mr. Dark and Dark Rayman's faces. Rayman is staring at the ground in shame and covering his head with one hand as if scared of the faces, while using the other to support himself from falling flat-face (So he's just lying there).
Huh? Waddayathink?

I think I know what you mean. I doubt I'll be using a lives system though. Neither Rayman 2 nor Rayman 3 used one.

You know, Rayfan, maybe this level or area could use some different trees aswell. So far I've only seen trees of one type. I fear that might get a little boring soon, unless you were already planning to make more.

The UDK video is soo good, Rayman ROTD also for the PS4 (i was saw an official PS4, should be out in 2012)

Die infidel! But yes, if CryEngine3 is supported on the PS4 (if there is one) then I'll have it released for it.

Good point! You might see I did actually add a second type of tree that's curved at the trunk, though it's still sort of similar.

I like how it's turning out now, you almost nailed his exact look from the TV series. Good job!
Oh yeah, you should probably add more distance between his body and his feet, how does he even have enough room to move those feet? Just sayin', that's the only thing why you "almost" nailed it.

Thanks! Sorry that's actually 3ds Max. Its field of view is strangely small, making everything seem closer than they are. Here's a better view:

As offeeeer suggested, I made a new video. Here's a list of new things/fixes appearing in the video:
NEWS:
New swamp and platforming area
Helicopter, diving, strafing, falling
Fully-functioning plums
Dynamic water ripples
Pink and green plants from Rayman 1
Basic animals (they won't be roosters for long)
Bouncy mushrooms (I know they bounce way too fast, I'm working on that)
Light Rays shining through the trees
Test physical props
FIXES:
Moving while airborne/jumping now works, allowing for a full platforming experience
Fixed problem where landing without rolling causes Rayman to snap back to a 0,0,0 orientation
Fixed bug causing Rayman to move forward very slowly while standing still
Rayman no longer gets stuck on edges
Made improvements to the lighting scheme, now offering a wider range of hues when fading from light to dark
General improvement the the whole fluidity of the platforming system
I know he jumps very unpredictably in height now, it's because I had to completely redo his physical profile to make it so he could move in the air. I'll try to fix it. Another thing, the new model and rig I've created, I won't implement that right now (due to character exporting troubles to CE3) because it's not exactly important. The only thing doing so will provide me with is a more detailed model, much more detailed animations and a physicalised bone system (such as Rayman being a Ragdoll).

I can't believe how well the game looks developed by now. And Rayman seems to function just like himself. Were the hens just for target practice?

Sort of, they're just a placeholder model until I can create something. I have an idea: they could be electoons. When you shoot them, they turn into antitoons and attack you for about five seconds or so then turn back into electoons. If you do so three times, the fourth time knocks them out and they do that thing where they beam upward in a blur.
