They can't do that.
One can dream. :/ I'm happy with my non-HD ish game too.

You can solve half the problem with just changing ubi.ini to run in HD, and the new shaders aren't exactly hard to achieve artificially. Slap on a light glow filter, and it should look right similar.

I dunno, I'm just getting shit annoyed with whiners - they whine for not having on PC, and when it does, they whine even more about it not being good enough . Can't win.

I've done this, but I don't like the stretched interface so now I just let my Catalyst Control Center automatically apply Anti Aliasing at 8x8.
No pixely is good. I don't mind it that Rayman looks a little taller on my wide screen.

Can't win indeed. As long as everyone has different expectations, there will always be whiners, no matter how good the result.

Oh, right, he looks taller when I put on the HD thingy. My bad. D:

Why would his proportions be any different if you merely expand the field of view horizontally with widescreen?
Also, I use the nVidia control panel to apply 32x32 antialiasing.

As far as I know, no change, in terms of ingame objects, occurs, only the field of view.
The interface screw-up is manageable.
Rayman 2 on the other hand, just stretches the image.

When I said Rayman looked taller/fatter I tried to make a joke, and I didn't actually mean only he changed in proportion.

That exsists? Whoa. Well, I'm okay with 8x8. Some of my games begin to act funny (assassin's creed, guild wars) when I don't allow the game itself to use it's own anti aliasing.
The "[POR]" makes me suspect it stands out for Portugal. Ubisoft remind us? *Miracle happens*
If the HD version would own the Portuguese language for the first time, now that would surprise me.

Yes, I saw Stacey posted before. I was just pointing the video title. Ubisoft doesn't seem to care about about the most western country of Europe, you know.

There's a [NL] video.

Oh uh I chose the NL one because it was the first European one I saw on my youtube dash [there was an Australian one too but didn't realise the date is the same all over the world]. The Youtube channels Ubi run tend to put videos up earlier than they're meant to for most times so I kept my fingers crossed they wouldn't block it.

"From the people who didn't actually bring you Beyond Good & Evil, now not actually bringing you Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc!"
Hehe...
Anyway, the trailer is pretty nice overall. But is it still the craziest chapter now that we have Origins?

Nuh-uh.
I guess it's just a ploy to bring in more consumers who like Origins' quirky tone.

I seriously dont understand why they are using the origins text for "Rayman 3" I find it unneccesary.
But hell, who the heck isn't looking forward to this?
edit: When all of us purchase this off psn all of us rpc users need to notice any difference (besides the HD graphics) in sound, or whatever else from the original version, this is why I will take my time playing this one.

Exactly, the old logo was way better. Maybe they didn't have access to a high-quality version of it?
Next thing they'll do is use Rayman Origins music because they didn't have access to high-quality versions of the original music. :/
Still, I'll get this as soon as it comes out. Rayman 3 deserves it.

Singing lums in rayman 3? Sure I'd love to see some of that.... only for some levels though it'd probably get tiring after the first couple levels.
