I liked it a lot! It gave a very good coverage of everything. The only small thing I think that I think would make a very noticeable is if it didn't just use sounds straight from the recorded video, if the video had its own music in the background with maybe some added sound effects. :)

And out of the blue here's soundtrack part 21:

1. "Mount Kollapso: A Stoner's Invinciblism - 0:00
2. "The Ice Volcano: Red Sea of Infinity" - 1:39
3. "Darklands: Psychedelic Cavern" - 5:03
4. "Islandaile: Pretty Little Landscape" - 7:45
5. "Islandaile: The Crystal Pond" - 9:10
6. "The Billowing Dunes: Poised" - 10:15
7. "The Billowing Dunes: Dark Scorpion Skops" - 10:44

I have a few random yet very relevant trivia:
  • In track 1, this is referring to the stone men.
  • Track 2 has singing in it and I hit a Bb4 at 4:43, a note I've never been able to sing before in my life... :o well maybe when I was a little kid.
  • Track 3 made use of analogue devices and generators (at my brother's studio) to screw with the sound.
  • Tracks 4, 5, 6 and 7 all have a prominent miked electric guitar part
  • Track 5 has a flute in it, a shiny new flute I just obtained for an incredibly good price. Now I don't have to learn on a cheap $10 wooden flute. :P
  • Track 7 has an acoustically miked drum kit; it is also the instrumental chorus to one of the songs I wrote for my band.
Anyway, I'm just curious, can anyone pick a favourite track out of these seven?

Midchrome made the trailer, not me, so I can't take credit for any typos. :oops2:

Thanks Danone and Ikke!

@Ikke:
Are you expecting me to disagree with your harmless opinion that I requested to hear? :P

If only I knew what note Bb4 is, because you know why. Good job on the soundtrack as it's great as always, especially the second and last tracks are my favorite.

Oh yes, all the irony on imcompatibilities between different music systems.

Yeah.

And after thinking about it, I think it's B4 because what you call B is H here, and Bb is B. Don't ask me why.

I know, I'm from Poland. That said I didn't realise b was the flat, I expected there a separate symbol for it. So it's probably some high B in Polish notation. But rather not b4, this is beyond reach of a piano. On the other hand B4 is lower than piano can do... oh well... Crap, I didn't expect number scale is different here too.

I know we're Polish, I by accident said ''you'' but I meant RayFan there.

It turns out b4 is on the piano, but almost on the edge.

Great job with the soundtrack. By the way I have an other idea for a character. Henchman P. A failed Prototype of a henchman 800. After spending years in a jail sell in the Prison Ship he has taught himself English and developed a personality. After Rayman frees him from his sell Henchman P becomes extremely loyal to him. The reason the prototype failed was that he failed every task he tried. Near the end of the Prison Ship Rayman, Lac Mac, Flips, and Henchman P are surrounded by robo-pirates and Henchman P sacrifices himself to save the others. At the end of the level Rayman promises himself he will one day avenge Henchman P and defeat the robo-pirates.
