It surprises me nobody has managed to reverse engineer this game on the N64 or something. I've recently looked into Super Mario 64 hacking, and wtf, they can edit everything in the game! Those guys should also be able to hack Rayman 2 that way.

It is ONLY available in Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava level. It stops when you are in Foutch's area.

It's not that they can't, it's that nobody has yet.

Hello everyone. I finished the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 recently, and I spotted something slightly odd.
As most of you know by now, the Isle of Doors (link) is modelled closely after the official map of the Glade of Dreams (link). However, the Isle of Doors texture which Drolpiraat helpfully extracted some time ago appears to be incomplete. I notice that it doesn’t have the Prison Ship marked onto it, though it is clearly visible in the attached image. Also in the attached image are several islands which I believe correspond roughly with the Archipelago shown in the official map which came with the PC version. I would very much appreciate some clarification on this from someone. Is it possible to extend the Isle of Doors map?

I thought in the same thing when I finished the DC version, because of the ripped map there isn't the Bucaneer picture, neither some small islands.

*Sorry for doublepost*
I've finally done my Rayman 2: The Great Escape (PS1)'s playlist.
The EXTRAS include the dialogues in French, Spanish, Italian and German.
I've recorded also the DEMO version for Playstation 1:

Oh god that demo, I can never forget how I lost out to an awesome prize in a magazine just by like 1 second because that pirate shot me, back in like 2002. I had to record the run on VHS and send it to them and well, at least I beat the regulars at these speed run contests they had.

There were contests about this demo?

Basically there was this old magazine called Official Playstation Magazine, and in each issue they gave away a free demo disc. I just so happened to pick up the one with the Rayman 2 demo and saw the contests [this wasn't just for Rayman 2, they had time attacks, challenges etc on some of the other games] and thought I'd enter. The results showed up a few issues later and man did I get pissed off at first.

I see. I know the DEMO was bundled in an Official Playstation Magazine, because I was 8 years old (year 2000) when I played the very same demo, on the same day I met Rayman and played Rayman 1 the first time. So my first contact with Rayman 2 was in the same moment.

I don't know how you have configured the graphic plugin but I have it as "Triple Buffer Vsync" in the Full Screen Sync.

N64's games aren't ISOs, but ROMS!

Basically
ROMs are image files from cartridges, while ISOs come from discs.

No, not right. You don’t need a different copy of the game, you just need to press ‘F4’ while you’re playing it.
