I really like the original Rayman 3 logo... I hope they will at least keep the original music.
Of course they will. Producing music is one of the most lengthy jobs there are in the platforming genre.Hoodcom wrote:I really like the original Rayman 3 logo... I hope they will at least keep the original music.
The game was made in 2003, the sound effects are fine.Master4lyf1 wrote:If they do so much as add those cartoony sound effects shown in the trailer...
I shall bombard fanboy RAGE!
I doubt they'd change the soundtrack, that'd be going to far, but I hope "remastered sound" is just current audio effects and not "remastered" replacements.
It does need higher quality. After all, Rayman 3 HD is not on 3DS, and the original quality of the music was really poor (22khz, same as Rayman 2).Hoodcom wrote:I don't quite think remastering is necessary, except maybe allow for slighty higher quality, if any at all.
Especially being on a 3DS, you ain't going to need surround sound, let alone a very high quality stereo output considering the limitations of the built-in audio circuitry, speakers, and headphone amplifier.
I didn't convey what I said there correctly by the look, what I mean is that whilst watching the trailer, I heard quite a few sound effects I had never heard before, such as the cartoony dahing sound when Globox runs into the Fairy Council, or the machine gun sounds when shooting in the flying machines.RayFan9876 wrote:The game was made in 2003, the sound effects are fine.Master4lyf1 wrote:If they do so much as add those cartoony sound effects shown in the trailer...

On a 3DS it doesn't... but, seeing as it isn't for a 3DS. I it needs to be higher, if at all possible..Drolpiraat wrote:It does need higher quality. Me too! The music awesome as it is! I hope they never take it out or change it!Hoodcom wrote:I really like the original Rayman 3 logo... I hope they will at least keep the original music.
Well it's already on the cover so I won't get my hopes up.Shrooblord wrote:I think they'll have a regular Rayman 3 logo too - that Origins thing is perhaps just something for the trailer.
You can look into GOG.com where they sell the original version of Rayman 3 for PC. It's cheap and worth it.magman wrote:Again no PC version?
That's an awesome trailer! It's EXACTLY like the one that has been posted twice already!
I have the original. I want the HD version. And i have a feeling that unlike Origins, this will never come out for PCSpanex wrote:You can look into GOG.com where they sell the original version of Rayman 3 for PC. It's cheap and worth it.magman wrote:Again no PC version?
You can also expect Rayman Origins on PC in late march.
