I used to have French classes in the third cicle of basic school, for three followed years. I remember at the time I wanted to pick German mainly because it was the language of my favourite musical group, but due to lack of teacher I was forced to go for the French. It kinda matched to the time my mother had a trip to France and brought me Rayman Collector as a requested souvenir. When I turned the game on and saw the texting, I had absolutely no idea how to read the words and what the stuff were suppoused to mean! And shortly after, I decide to go for the french demo of Learning English with Rayman. The trauma of the spiked red spheres and invincible Antitoons got immediately linked with the French language!

I remember handling better with naming objects and some basic grammar. Now when I was asked to express freely, now this is where we would have the cauldron spilled (portuguese expression, literally translated)!

I stopped having French classes when I entered in High School, but rediscovering Rayman and having my best friends as French natives made the miracle of recovering some long-lost french knowledge and reviving interest. The Summer stays I did in the south of France also contributed for my improvement, although I was communicating 95% of the time in English!

I learned German in both primary and high school but I know almost nothing. The whole education system was broken and it focused only on grammar tests and 0 conversation. Result was wasting 12 years on language and knowing almost nothing today. My bro who is 12 years old knows it better today than I do for 12 years of "learning it" (he takes private class as hobby). That fact makes me really sad about my life in general. 12 freaking years wasted like nothing...

Well, I wasn't expecting either of these things to be happening anytime soon...

I should probably consider getting a Raspberry Pi. :)

Huh, that's pretty neat.

Though I'd be tempted to get a Raspberry Pi to toy around with Linux on... maybe with out the gui and just toy with it. :)

I was wondering what you had to say to this in particular, Plum.

Wouldn't a free Windows 10 be full of advertisements for something like that?

Hmm, seeing as WinX hasn't gotten an official firm release date yet, I guess they're not seeing the point in hyping it up to the general masses yet.

Haven't listened to Gorillaz in forever but I'm very happy to see them back!

Anyways sorry for my inactivity on both skype and here lately guys, I know few of you have been trying to contact me on skype (Namely Haruka), but my motherboard is still dead and I'm awaiting a new one I purchased.

I would have had this motherboard right now but due to a snow storm here the package has been delayed. :x Just my luck.

Hrm. Shenanigans may be afoot. The to-be-published 'second book' was written over 50 years ago and Harper Lee is now in a nursing home. Some of the stuff in this interview with a HarperCollins editor seems shady, specifically the part about direct contact - read, there is none and everything is being communicated through a lawyer. I'm not sure how I feel about this, I sincerely hope everything is above board.

The obvious part: The plane couldn't lift and as you can see for yourself it simply stalled. If that was due tue overweight, engine malfunction, bad winds, or somewhy the pilot was too stupid to do full thrust, I don't know and it's the job of the investigators to find out.

That's one of the most on-the-spot documented crashes I've seen. Do we know how many passengers it was carrying and whether the pilot survived?
