That's a really cool trailer back there on page 161. I like your Electoons idea too.
I've got a tip about the music though: maybe you want to add another theme in it - that looping piano track (the one with the chords) could start getting boring pretty quickly depending on what person plays it. It also reminded me of the Donkey Kong theme (you know the one).

PRO TIP: Watch the storyboard video on page 164 while also listening to Darklands:Psychedelic Cavern. That is a really cool combination. Of course, pause the music when they enter the hut or you'll get a really weird result.
The music's excellent. Quite definately my favourite compilation yet.
I like the other pics a lot too! Polokus's roost looks great. Now let's see Polokus!

By the way, I once drew a Polokus image fur the lulz and I got him down quite well even though it wasn't intended to be drawn accurately (he was just a doodle I suppose). You could see it if you want and then decide if you want me to draw side and front views of him. Mind though that because of lack of space the image isn't quite accurate - for example the arms are way to short, but else it would just look weird anyway.
EDIT:
a) Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
b) Alice in Wonderland
c) Up and Down
d) Kiss Me Kate
e) Either 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' or 'Ghosts of the Abyss'
f) I dunno - maybe 'Kung Fu Panda 3D'?
g) Dial M for Murder
h) Creature from the Black Lagoon
i) The Polar Express
j) The Nightmare Before Christmas
k) Toy Story
l) Journey to the Centre of the Earth
m) How to Train Your Dragon

Idea #4 mark 1:
The Ice Volcano was the first location of the ice mask of Polokus. Rayman finds the mask but is caught by Axel. Rayman tries to explain that he doesn't know what the mask is but Axel doesn't believe him. After a long battle Axel lets you live but warns you about Magmont. Later after the Magmont battle Magmont fled back into the lava and healed himself. Axel appears again to distract Magmont while rayman and joe escape.

Nah, not this one. This changes too much and is starting to sound like a copy of Rayman 2 if put into context. The only reason Polokus is here is to educate Rayman on what's happening, as at the beginning of the game you have no idea who the villain is, not to find four masks. Plus there was supposed to be a big fight against Magmont, and throwing Axel in there and removing the Magmont fight just doesn't fit.

I'm trying to think of ideas for Ice Volcano, The Billowing Dunes, Gemstone Temple, Penumbra Ocean, and Shutter Cave.

hey rayfan i don't know if you noticed this but in your rayman character movement in CR3 you can only see his back but in rayman 2 and 3 you can see the front and back are you going to fix this.

This was wrong (U2 3D) so you get 2 Tings as a consolation prize. GOOD JOB

Two Tings... anyway, I had fun recognising the parodies nontheless.
Hey, Rayfan, concerning that video back in page 161, I noticed something that I've been thinking about a little while now and it is something I'd like to put out there. When Rayman jumps out of the water, the camera has these specs of water on it that dribble down so that it looks like the camera itself was submerged in water. It's quite a cool effect but I'm not sure if it should be in the game itself. It kind of causes the viewer to be aware that it's actually a camera
following Ray, as opposed to just a view of Ray from behind.
The effect, like I said, is nice and really great when used in the right context - for example, in the game
Banjo - Kazooie - Nuts and Bolts, the camera does the same kind of thing when your vehicle emerges from water. However, as this game is more like a racing/platforming game full of 'the fourth wall'-braking comments, it's quite fitting. The viewer is quite aware that they are watching footage of the game, rather than actually experiencing the game as if they were driving the car themselves. In your Rayman game, though, isn't the player supposed to be dragged into the game, to actually experience the magic (for which you are making a marvellous effort to bring it out as much as possible) firsthand? As such, a camera effect like this might well drag them out of this feel, as it kind of distances you from Rayman by recreating the effects of a glass wall emerging from water.
Just a thought - decide what you want to do with it.

@that3Dguy:
Yup, I'm trying to make the camera more like Rayman 3. I know edactly how the Rayman 3 camera's mechanics work so it shouldn't be too much trouble.
@Shroobster:
It's been there so long I forgot about it! I'll play with it when I get home.

Ah I remember now.
And it's not R-hook, it's just Rhook, pronounced like the bird or chess piece "rook." Anyway, he has a very specific look. You can try modeling him though I'm not sure if I'll use the model you've made.

He apparently gives them all to me because I made him a model.
Also the chin on the pink bird should be a little smaller.
