Yeah that movie has a weird charm to it. A lot of the acting feels like it could've been from a porn movie, but it just works somehow. In fact if they didn't make it a mario movie it'd probably be remembered pretty fondly.

The Yoshi in the movie is fucking adorable.

I watched few movies in the past weeks, but I will keep my impressions very short:
Ted - Lots of crude humour but I liked a lot. I am interested in watching the sequel.
BIONICLE 3: Web of Shadows - Found it less boring than the previous BIONICLE movie.
Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew - Now I understand Lucario has got so many fans, and for good reasons too. I won't look to my amiibo in the same way again as before!
BIONICLE: The Legend Reborn - This movie had plenty of action, something I thought it was really lacking in the first movie. It was great to see Mata Nui as a character.
This weekend I will watch Lucy aswell.

Eh, I think that all BIONICLE movies are mediocre at best

I do admit I enjoyed first one as a kid though.

Don't bother watching the sequel. :/

I'm surprised you'd watched something like Ted, Haruka.
I liked Ted, despite not liking Seth Mcfarlane's other work (Family Guy). It was a funny film that had me laughing. I've yet to the sequel as well. I'll have to give it a watch when it comes out on home media.

@Acarr
She must watch sequel

It is equally awesome as first one in terms of humor IMO and even better in some segments like a road trip (seriously, who doesn't like movies with road trip).
Out of curiosity Acarr, why didn't you like it?

It was alright, but it was pretty much the exact same jokes. It wasn't a bad film, see it if you want, I did, but the first film's better imho.

Yeah, I agree jokes were same so that's why I said I think it is equally awesome. They were maybe same but I think story overall was better than one from first film. Not to mention that one character (who I shall not name in order not to make spoiler for Haruka) that pissed me off so much in first film thankfully was not in second one and was replaced by someone much better IMO.

The best part about watching Ted 2 for me was this massive neck-beard bringing his granny to the cinema to go watch it with him.

LOL, that reminds me, my friend who I always go to cinema with watched Ted 1 home (Ted was no longer in cinemas sadly so I went to his home to watch it) with me, his mother and grandmother
I could not help it but feel very awkward in some way being there.

Did they find it funny?

Probably not since they did not laugh at all.

Well, does that makes surprising that I played Portal 1 and 2 before aswell?
The movie did make me laugh at several points. One of my favourite scenes was when Ted was being interviewed in the supermarket

That one was awesome scene indeed.
I personally laughed most at Flash Gordon references in the movie and Ming scene was my favorite

Alien3 by David Fincher. The best Alien film, it's my opinion! Dragon Ball Z resurrection of Freezer, too!

It's the only Alien film I have't seen (and I'm a big Alien fan) because I've heard atrocious things about it...

Everest is actually a great movie if anyone was thinking about going to see it, it's not just another set of mountain-climbing-gone-wrong cliches, but instead a really human and apparently accurate depiction of the disaster. Now I believe it's only in a few select theaters that they're doing this, but there's this new thing going around where they add extra speakers to make the sound more immersive, and even though it's expensive af it really adds to the experience.

I haven't watched a movie since a long time (just two Star Wars), but I'm planning to re-watch Revolver of Guy Ritchie.

Been on a break from the cinema lately, but I just saw Mad Max: Fury Road. If there's anyone who's more of a gamer and doesn't really watch movies much, this I recommend 100%. It's a total thrill ride.
