In Rayman Dictées there is a TV, and the same thing happens in Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party.
I forgot Dictees and I don't count Rabbids games.

Other than Rayman 2, I've never played any of those games, so cut me some slack.

In dictees, the television isn't called "telebox" or something like that?

The Telévox is a machine. The TV in the game is another thing.

hey guys,

Anyone else trying to get their Rayman 2 to work on their 64-bit systems. xD
Dang. I've tried almost everything.
Using a virtual machine to install Rayman 2 worked but I can't execute it from the VM because of the lack of support for graphics cards.
I wish 64-bit systems still supported 16-bit software. I mean. The virtual machines can and they are executed from within my 64-bit systems. :p
I don't really feel like installing a new partition for just windows xp. :/

Today I found my old Rayman 2 manual. I forgot that it contained an epic prologue about what happened just before the game starts.

Kind regards.

Did you manage to install it?

Yes. But I can't start it because it'll still check for a disc. And a no-cd doesn't work either. (guess they're 16-bit, or i haven't been able to find a decent one)

kind regards. :mryellow:

Finally got round to downloading a R2 save-game (to overcome the CD-glitch-thing in the Sanctuary of Rock and Fire or whatever it's called) and there's been some nice stuff. The downhill slide through the exploding pirate ship was pretty amazing - Ubi managed to wring an amazing amount of scale and atmosphere out of such modest tech. I also liked the area with the big stomping chicken-robot guy, and the brief interlude on the hot-air balloon was great too (love the piece of music that plays there).

However, the bit in the pirate ship with the Flying Shell has just caused me to rage-quit. The complexity of that section + no respawn points + keyboard controls + bizarre flight physics = frustration.

Ah yes. The good old Pirate Ship. I actually came to love that part. Probably because I managed to complete it at some point. It makes you happy. :p

I really didn't like the Prison Ship. It could have been a bit bigger. The Woods of Light, however...simply fantastic.

I can't actually give an unbiased opinion when it comes to Rayman 2. I grew up with it so it's basically part of me.
I've still got the retail disc, manual and the map of the Glade of Dreams is somewhere. :p

I've ordered the N64 version recently. I might have it on my hands in the end of the month, it has got the GOD map. :)

My copy's got the map too though I don't think I ever thought about scanning it into a better quality version.

I don't know still the real dimension of the map.

It would be perfect existing a scanner big enough to digitalize the map in high-resolution.

I suppose you could scan the four quarters of the map and edit them into one image or something like that. I’m not sure just how big it is.

Does anyone here has got two videos from Rayman 2 era which are:

- An Henchman 800 playing a hopscotch with Playstation symbols

- 4 Henchmen 800 exploring a cave in which Catastrox appears

...?

I'm not talking about the Rayman Revolution trailer by the way. I remember these were available in separated videos in "RaymanWorld" and with better resolution than the Rayman Revolution trailer. These were in "ram" format and they were named "alien.ram" and "marelle.ram".

It's the Dutch manual.
