Seems sfn42 deleted all his videos. So it's my time to make another video.

Unfortunately my Rayman 3 CD got scratched, so I'm unable to get beyond the language select screen. I did look around a bit for another CD but the lack of competition and even activity in this thread has caused me to lose the motivation.

The problem with this game is, after a certain point - let's say 840,000 - the game becomes monotonous to play because all the fun has been squeezed out of the levels, and all that's left is an empty platform upon which one can make minuscule improvements over extensive time periods. Jona once spoke about the same thing. It's just not fun to play a level for six weeks just to get another 300 points, at least not in my opinion.

I agree. I can try a few times for a good score, and maybe all day if I have to, but any more than that and it's really not worth my time.

Well, I've played a particular part for about a year just to get another 300 points. I've taken some long breaks, but still. The fun lies with the fact that no-one has ever done it before. :D

I do believe you can reach 850.000 - 855.000 points without having to involve the most tedious parts. You don't have to hit the Shoes nine times in LS part 1, you don't have to land on the edge in SBTC part 3, although jumping for the green gem is hard enough in its own right, and you don't have to get down where it really hurts in FC. But of course, it depends on where your own level of tolerance lies.

Mostwanted: Are you declaring war in your own subtle way? Ok, I'll pick up the gauntlet. I will now chase these 300 points vehemently and I'll try to raise the bar in some other levels.

I still have TLOTLD to play where I can fairly easily make 1500 additional points, but it's a question of procrastination. In fact, it's a vicious circle; I can't buy a new CD because I've lost sufficient motivation to replay levels, and I can't actually get round to playing those levels because I don't have a CD on which to play them. It's such a shame I balls'ed part 2 up when I last played and finished the level without enough points :pascontent:

You were talking to Danone there, weren't you?
It's odd, Danone and I seem to constantly be confused for each other...

Xenon: I understand your reasons for not playing at the moment. I hope you'll be back as an active player some day .

Will you buy R3 in HD? Could that be a way to rejoin the select group of active players?

I'm still thinking about it as I will have to buy a new console. But I'm really curious about the gameplay. Will there still be all the known glitches? Will there be new ones? Will they put back the missing secret room in DOTK part 3?

The game will be out on March 21st.

I'm thinking in buying it in PSN, the problem is just trying to get enough to buy a 20€ prepaid card.

I want the trophies. :D

I have yet to decide what console to buy. Maybe it will be X-Box as I'm used to the control.

Trophies? There are trophies?

I don't think there's a plat for Beyond Good and Evil so there probs won't be for this, not many downloadables have plats.

edit: yeah, no platinum: http://www.ps3trophies.org/game/beyond- ... /trophies/

I see a trophy named : "Patience pays off : Watch the real ending".

That means there will be a new ending cinematic for this Rayman 3 HD ?

Thanks, Haruka !

If there is new content in this Rayman 3 HD, it will be very interesting... I've heard there will be new mini-games.
