Also I remember these old RM1 screenshots, I even have them saved on my pc somewhere from my old iphone days. I'm pretty obsessed with old beta stuff like this, it's really neat to look at.

I've never seen those GBC Rayman ones though, I really like how Spellbound Forest looks here, the blue and pink background is a very dynamic contrast!

I don't think I've seen it before, and I doubt Rayman sold a lot of copies in Japan, so I would assume that yes, it is.

Also, Marx-Y, where did you find all the early GBC screenshots? I want to add them to the wiki but I'd like to specify a source for those.

I tried found again the archives of the magazine that I got that first four images, but I can't found that again. like almost one year that I found it.

The CD cover and the reference card are from MobyGames and were uploaded by RibShark. There is a lot of good stuff in that site.

I used Google's reverse image search and looked at the "Images from Rayman 1" category, and I could not find them in the wiki.

i think i am gonna die, they basically have their advanced mapper and internal editor, with lot of options than were removed, so we did just get a simple version of their programs?, cool how they developed it!

There is this magazine article about Rayman 1. this show the same animation process and level editor than was showed on the Micro Kid's! Multimedia show.

I wonder from what magazine this came from.

Yeah, there is also some stuff pending for the Rayman in popular culture page (I've uploaded some of it recently).
