So Rayman is raping music now?Rulez wrote:Raping a classic would be too much.
OMG, you're so right.. they will ruin Rayman if they put an awesome song in the game.RayFan9876 wrote:Please think this through.sergiomonty wrote:it would be pretty awesome if they made a Bohemian Rhapsody level. Nuff said.
Again, you're not understanding the concept of "just because something awesome is in something else doesn't automatically make them both awesome." It 'works' with rock, because rock generally has a very constant rhythm, it's something you can headbang and jam to, and also design a level that beats to its rhythm. Bohemian Rhapsody is probably one of the most arhythmic songs I can think of off the top of my head, it would be so incredibly awkward to the point of annoyance, especially considering the long stretches of that song that don't even have a rhythm to them at all.sergiomonty wrote:OMG, you're so right.. they will ruin Rayman if they put an awesome song in the game.
This was a thing they already said. How is this terrible BTW? The way I understand it is that Murphy is just a neat bonus character to get secrets.sergiomonty wrote:I have terrible news...
Some levels will require Murphy as a mandatory playable character, and Rayman will move automatically as Murphy protects him. The guy who said that during an interview commited the mistake to say "the game will be half Rayman, half Murphy" but a bit later he corrected himself saying that the Murphy levels wouldn't even cover half of the game.
Not much people reached that part of the video because of the disappointment ,so thumbs down for Rayman Legends everywhere... this news might mean a proportional loss in sales.

Did you even read any part of what Sergio said?Bionichute wrote:The way I understand it is that Murphy is just a neat bonus character to get secrets.
...this fails so much. There is a goddamn difference between rapping and raping. And Fat is another idiot here.sergiomonty wrote:Raping....????
They didn't even "rap" Black Betty.... they just sang it in a gibberish
In honesty, this isn't a major problem for me, If I were to get a Wii U and this game, I would still be able to play with my siblings.sergiomonty wrote:I have terrible news...

In all honesty, I sincerely hope he does.sergiomonty wrote:Woah, so many people are cancelling their purchases just for the miscommunication during the interview. That guy's surely gonna get fired
Uh oh, what about the E3 demos? I thought Murfy would be playable in every level.Master4lyf1 wrote:In honesty, this isn't a major problem for me, If I were to get a Wii U and this game, I would still be able to play with my siblings.sergiomonty wrote:I have terrible news...

That being said, I don't think any of them would appreciate being a mere "support" character.
Well, you have to be able to get Murfy from one side of the screen to the other very quickly (can't do that with analog sticks) so I don't expect the Murfy levels to appear on platforms like Xbox 360 or PS3 at all. It's only possible to port those levels to the PC (mouse-controlled Murfy), the Wii (although I doubt that as it will already be on the Wii U), and touch devices. I don't think it's a coincidence they ported the UbiArt engine over to iOS/Android for Rayman Jungle Run - we'll probably see some kind of port or Rayman Legends-inspired game on those platforms.Haruka wrote:Well, for one side this opens a chance for a later port, no?
