Hey, Dorkandez, try going to the settings or ubi.ini or whatever RL uses to keep the settings data saved, and try changing the fullscreen option to 0, maybe that works.

When was that? I know he mentioned coming around less often but I also recall him saying he'd never exactly "officially depart".

Then again, it's been like two weeks since he last posted.

I think he'll come back. Not sure if that'll be any soon though. I just don't think he's the kind of person to leave a community like this behind forever.
