Other headcanon I have is about Polokus' two known forms. The form of Origins and Legends is the original one, but before going into deep sleep, he changed his form for the R2 one. Since in order to awake him the Four Masks are needed and his movements would be limited, he would need large arms in order to conpensate that. Time after recovering from the sleep, he returned to his original form.

Yeah, about that, isn't the Origins and Legends Polokus basically an incredibly pale Glute? ... with a beard?

To be honest, I can't see any differences that can't be simply explained away by limitations of fifteen-year-old 3D technology.
And this coming from a guy who's still upset by the changes from Portal 1 to Portal 2 (just to put this in a bit of context).

Huh? Polokus looks nothing like the Globoxes from Rayman 2 in his Rayman 2 outfit. He looks more like a fat, gypsy frog than anything else.

To me he looks like a giant potato sack wearing clothes.

In an interview about the development of RO, the developers told that Polokus was a shapeshifter. He was about to appear in the game with many different forms, but that got scrapped and you only see in the amphibian way.

It makes me wonder in the end if Polokus really is shapeshifter and just choosed to appear in 1 form only, or he got redesigned as Magician and he only has 1 form.

Hmm... in your dreams you're also not always the same person, or you 'are' but you don't look like you are. So maybe Polokus dreams not only the rest of the world into existence, but also himself.
But this would mean, if he were ever to stop dreaming... he would cease... and if he himself ceased... all creation as we know it... gone.

…Or he'd wake up in a poorly-furnished apartment somewhere, look at the clock and shout "Aw nuts, I'm late for work!"

Also there's a tiger in his bathroom.

I don't know if I added this headcanon here before but here I go.
If Origins happens after Rayman 2 and both the Valley and the Glade of Dreams are in the same world, I'd like to think that the Desert of the Didgeridoos and Grumbling Grottos are the ruins of Band Land after Razorbeard and his army invaded.

I like to playfully think that the Desert of the Knarren and the Desert of Didgeridoos are the same thing. And that Blue Mountain are the mountains that concealed the desert (because, you know, a desert is hot because there's always a mountain range keeping the air from cooling off the land behind it).

Huh, that' a pretty neat idea, Brad, I'mma take that one. As for the Dijiridoos and Knarren deserts being the same, ehh, I'm not fond of the kind of that kind of mix, they give off different airs to me that don't seem compatible.

I think that Desert of the Dijiridoos and the Toad Story marshlands are in the same region (there are few common elements), probably along with Band Land.
Then another region features Gourmand Land and Fiesta de Los Muertos Kitchens, maybe with Candy Chateau (the one we see in Rayman Fiesta run makes sense).
Then I believe the Desert of the Knaaren is set near the desert of Infinite Tower (which is probably near Desert of Dijiridoos). This Desert is also nearby the Swamp of Teensies in Trouble and Jibberish Jungle (they are probably in the same region). And at last but not at least, the Swamp of Teensies in Trouble is connected to the one of Toad Story.
Eh? Ó_Ó

I remember that idea, I personally think that each individual world from RL is the same world as an RO one, but merely changed due to 100 year gap. And, like you said, some of these areas also seem to hint at such a connection with elements from these past worlds, so, this is how I think they relate:
Jibberish Jungle - Teensies in Trouble
Desert of Dijiridoos - Toad Story
Gourmand Land - Fiesta de los Muertos
Sea of Serendipity - 20,000 Lums under the Sea
Mystical Pique/Moody Clouds - Olympus Maximus

I recently had the idea that the difference between the R3 and RO LOTLDs is simply due to Roméo's being totally out of it on drugs - his hallucinations led him to believe his practice was in LOTLD, but he was really someplace nice and calm. Of course, that still doesn't explain the logical link between the name and the Griskin/Palmito situation.
EDIT: Also Brad, I think I did see you post that one before.

I have a crazy idea. The musician from Rayman 1 is Romeo. Think about it. They both play instruments. The musician looks like some sort of hippie. Same for Romeo.

But the Musician plays guitar, while Roméo is a percussionist…

This is actually a great relation, I'd never thought about it like that.
