Re: Rayman Glitches
Would it be possible to make a video of that? Not many of us have played this game.

Re: Rayman Glitches
What DOS Emulator do you use? If it's DOSBox, Ctrl+Alt+F5 captures video.

Re: Rayman Glitches
Well, when you record from DOSBox, the video files go in a subdirectory of the DOSBox program folder called CAPTURE. You need to install a codec that comes with DOSBox in order to play them.

Re: Rayman Glitches
I'll try that the next time I start up my W Vista.

I will give it a try maybe.PluMGMK wrote:Well, when you record from DOSBox, the video files go in a subdirectory of the DOSBox program folder called CAPTURE. You need to install a codec that comes with DOSBox in order to play them.

Re: Rayman Glitches
BUMP.
Ummm Xenon i checked that ''First Person mode glitch'' you were talking about on my PS2,i did it on TLOTLD,but for some reason, the first time it dind't work, the i shooted the SR again,it was going normal until it stopped, and started going backwards!!! and i wasn't able to go down! just Right, left and up.
Oh and you can do it without SR too, just free the Teensies on the cage and inmediately press the screenshot button, and you will be able to walk while moving the camera to other areas, its very tricky.

Re: Rayman Glitches
It sure is a nice glitch. I remember trying it at the beginning of Hoodlum Headquarters to test an alternative method to the green gem combo. Such a shame the SR loses its power.
Re: Rayman Glitches
While we're on the topic of TLOTLD, remember the part where you hae to fight a bunch of Hoodstormers? In the cave, jump behind Globox and run to the back wall. Jump while hugging it and screenshot the game at the top of the jump. You should be able to see outside of the level.
Re: Rayman Glitches
After re-kindling my love of Rayman after discovering about Rayman Origins (via fanart and comments on deviantART, mainly thanks to Haruka and StaceyW), I got back into Rayman DS AND FOUND ANOTHER GLITCH!
Okay. You know the Super Glitch in Rayman Revolution that allows you to swim through the air?
Well, I found a variation of it in Rayman DS. Here's how you trigger it.
Go to Fairy Glade and swim to the rectanglualr dead-end (near the waterfall), and rise to the surface. Now hold the dive button, but press nothing else (i.e. DO NOT ACTUALLY DIVE). If a fair number of ripples start forming around Rayman on the water, continue to hold down the dive button but also press the camera button (1st person, X button). It's a bit tricky to do and is usually fluked but what may happen is that you see lots more ripples and Rayman's air gauge appear (make sure it didin't appear before hand). Now if you let go of the dive and camera buttons, you should see Rayman floating above the water, but still swimming. And you should also be able to swim around the Fairy Glade IN THE AIR.
... but there's a catch. You don't have unlimited air.
The glitch can be un-triggered (?) if you dive under the water and then re-surface (before you run out of air).
...pretty complicated (that happens when I try to explain a new glitch), but if you try and pull it off it should make more sense.
Right, that's all for now.

Re: Rayman Glitches
I already tried out, it works great but there's one problem.Rayman9930 wrote:Give us a video or update when you're ready. Re: Rayman Glitches
What version of DOSBox are you using? The latest one (0.73) does record the music.

It does?PluMGMK wrote:What version of DOSBox are you using? The latest one (0.73) does record the music.
I use the last version of D-Fend Reloaded, I'm not sure if the version is the same...
