My thoughts exactly!

It feels very much like a wrap-up scene was deleted. I'd assume that the Doctor found them a new world to inhabit peacefully.
Point is, the aliens almost never take that deal and it always becomes their downfall shortly after. I hope for once a race got to live on because their leader wasn't an idiot egotripper.

That scene with the inhaler, does seem to imply that maybe the Zygons are willing to work in peace, I guess time will tell how it comes along.

That scene led me to believe there were scenes missing from the episode. Why would they put that little 'wink-wink' in there to tell the audience that [both of them know who's the Zygon and who's not], but would they then continue to never use that fact again?

I am new to the Doctor Who fandom, and I don't want to watch any bit of the new season. Honestly, I want to watch some more of the older episodes and get more in tune with the series before I watch the new season.

I think it's probably on purpose, keep the thread hanging for future Zygon stories.
@FanClub, hm, whereabouts are you at then?

Cool, MrDFC - I'd say you should try to start with Tennant because he's epic and awesome and you'll love him and you'll cry when he's gone and you'll laugh when he returns sometimes and you'll be giddy and happy and lovely and

Meh, this is the point where I come in and say that I prefer Smith, to each their own.

Woah! But I do say that after all his acting, he's grown more and more on me and I do very much enjoy Smith. It's too bad [he's leaving now, because he was just starting to get extremely good at his role].

Indeed, I do hope his [exit will be glorious and dignified, and you'll find that his end is going to be a little more meaningful when it comes to the grand Doctor Who lore].

When you say "older episodes", do you mean "episodes before 2013" or "episodes before the seventeen-year hiatus"? A disturbing number of my friends seem incapable of watching anything produced before 2005, which is a shame because Doctor Who peaked with Tom Baker.

I'd personally recommend you start from Series 1 with Christopher Ecclestone, as it was meant to reintroduce Doctor Who after the previously mentioned hiatus.

Definitely watch Eccleston if you find the idea of big fat aliens who fart constantly entertaining. A quarter of his episodes are about them.

Ah yes, the Slitheen, two parter and Boom Town, 3 episodes out of 13, fair point.

Thanks guys. And I started with the Tenth doctor (already my favorite!) ; I've seen most of Tennant and half of Smith. When I say older episodes, I mean ninth doctor and before, as I'm only familiar with ten and eleven.

Hm, so are you venturing into Classic Who territory? (ie. Doctor Who from 1963 - 1989)
