The Atari Jaguar version makes it pretty clear what’s happening if you keep an eye on the health bar and the animations between the battles.

Jaguar emulators are still WIP, so sound and music typically goes out of key alot. It's improved so much in the last few years though (before, the sound coming on was a 1/20 chance and when it did it was so pitch bent and goofy it was comical ), but it really sucks in comparison to real hardware. If I ever saw a Jaguar with Rayman I'd be sure to pick it up, I'd love to experience it properly (and rip the music how it should sound )

I'm interested to download Rayman Designer, but I don't know will it work. I have Windows 7 64-bit.
The big ISO file inside is a file you have to burn to a disc.
Is this necessary? I don't want burn anything just to notice that it doesn't work.
Well, maybe I just try it when I have time.

The last time I've played in the emulator, the game was already 100% playable, with no sound/music glitches and graphical glitches. The FPS were also smooth in the 50/60.
Hopefully I'll record a Jaguar walkthrough now that the game is fully playable in VirtualJaguar.

Doesn't work. Also that -w thingie effects nothing.
When I launch the game, there's black window (maybe command line) and I think it makes it to the full screen.
Any help?

Argh, when I played it all colours was suddenly messed up. When I quit (oh, that horrible speak when you quit) the taskbar was gone!
And, still full screen.
And I was so excited about making own levels.

If the colors are messed up, that's due to a pallet change in the PCX files (found in each world). They must have the correct 256 color pallet, else all the colors will be thrown off the Empire State Building.

You can buy Rayman Forever off from Gog.com. It's 5.99 Or you can buy Rayman Forever off from Amazon. It comes with Rayman 1, Rayman by his fans where you can play Rayman levels created by his fans and Rayman Designer Unfortunely some of the music has been cut out because they also have a Making of Rayman 2 program. Rayman Forever also comes with a fridge magnet if you buy it from Amazon for a Brand New Your choice

I'm using the latest version of Virtual Jaguar, 2.02, but it won't even run the Rayman BETA Demo and it runs the prototype and final game at an extremely slow pace. my PC is a Windows 7 and is pretty fast, but again it's a laptop so does that make any difference? Also does 2.02 have gamepad support I didn't see any.

I am not sure why. My Virtual Jaguar 1.01 runs at a normal pace on my XP But I am going to get Virtual Jaguar 2.02 later.

Aren't emulators usually really processor-dependant? Laptops don't have the greatest processors around, unless yours happens to be one of those next-gen computer gaming laptops like the ones from Alienware. So even if your machine is fast, it would probably run a lot better on a regular desktop computer.
