RayFan9876 wrote:Here's a new 'song' I created for ROTD:
(This is not do be confused with the soundtrack piece "They Speak of a Hero," I'll change the soundtrack's name.)
Lyrics:
As the stories had told some time ago
As elders of us here had spoken
We would one day be set free
To be rid of this responsibility
Rayman, you have come all this way
And risked so much just to save us
Now you must hurry and stop him
You, Rayman, you are the only one!
Stalking down an empty hall
All Winter through Spring til Fall
Like a spider in the night
Its pray could not chose to fight
Shining tears role down their cheeks
Not able to comprehend
The pain that you could make come true
I could never care for you
I had the inspiration to do this when I thought of the ending of the game. I plan to have this song take place as Rayman frees the rest of his friends who sing about Rayman and Dark Rayman (in their respective lyrical paragraphs, transitioning in the middle) as Rayman heads down the corridor where he encounters Dark Rayman for the final fight.
Created with Logic Pro 8 and produced with Pro Tools 8.
I love that Rayfan, well done
Thanks Danone (and Rayman3DS; Sunshine I answered your post on the previous page)!

I really like this song as well!
The lyrics are good as well, but seriously, why are the voices all so crazy? It's good but it doesn't really fit the mood IMO.

Haha, I guess it's ironic in a way. I love irony if you know what I mean.

You sure? Cause I sure see them. Either that or you intended them to be other words.
Its pray (prey) could not chose (choose) to fight
Shining tears role (roll) down their cheeks
These were the ones I found. Anyway, no offense. I've been wanting to get you back for being a grammar nazi about a certain apostrophe I shouldn't have placed.

Not to mention the seasons written with a capital letter (they shouldn't be) and the "til" in the same line (which should be either till or 'til).
No typos, RayFan? You checked? Really? That's ironic. And you love irony - right?

I wasn't sure about the 'till' but now that you mentioned it...

@Lianna:
Thanks a lot! that's exactly how I wanted that part to sound.
@Drol & Span:
I was actually staring at "role" because something seriously looked wrong, but I couldn't figure it out. Either way, you both deserve to slap me across the face. Go ahead.

You just do the model, I'll rig it. I like having the freedom to customize my very own rig.

Sorry, I came from a (German) family that had absolutely horrible spelling. I try not to be like that. Besides, German was my first language, I only started learning English when I was three or four. Still though I don't know German nearly as well as I know English. I was born in Norway and lived there til I was one, then we moved to Germany for half a year and then we came here. However my parents and grandparents have lived in Canada since 1950 (my grandpa was a war hero who freed a bunch of people from a camp). And we temporarily moved back because my mother was on the professional Norwegian volleyball team.

Anywas, when's the last time I made a spelling mistake? I don't even know dohohohohohoho.
If you want I'll tell you a short story about my English and one of my recent big marks
Oh that poor 'idea' emoticon, never used.

I can pick out a lot of spelling mistakes you've made actually. And sure, go shoot, I want to hear this story.

,
when I was a young lad, and not even a young lad, I was just maybe 3 years old, my dad went to London for 3 years of my life. When I was 6 he finally returned and I rejoiced. I didn't yet care he was a cigarette addict, an alcoholic and he preferred to play football with his friends to spending time with me, and he teached me some English. I found the language fascinating. I decided to go on the Internet, read English books and do everything to understand English more and more. By the age of 7 I knew more about English than my father who was my first teacher of it. Nowadays whenever he sees something in English he asks me to translate it for him. Continuing, I went to school and by 3rd Grade, all the kids in my class started paying for English lessons to be prepared for 4th Grade. I went to one lesson and decided it's basic stuff - I wouldn't want to waste my time there. My teacher said she would appreciate if I took the lessons because she thought I'd be the only unprepared one for 4th Grade's teachings, where apparently they had 'difficult stuff'. Little did she know. So anyways, I refused and when 4th Grade hit, everyone was gawking astounded at me during English class. They took the classes yet didn't know near as much as me. They were confused - 'why?', 'how?', 'when?' - they were asking. I replied that I didn't know - I guessed it just came with my birth as a talent or something along the lines of it. The teacher whom I still know to this day (he is still my teacher) was proud of me and decided to enter me in many, many contests. I had a fever the day I was supposed to go to one of them. I thought about resigning, but I showed up being all sick and weak. I won (again). After a few years, I'm in 7th Grade and yesterday I went to a contest where there were people from 4 to 5 years older than me. We had 90 minutes to type the thing, and I finished it in 30 minutes. My above-mentioned English teacher was proud and said, after checking it, I've got 68/70 points. I jokingly stated I thought about resigning to give them a chance. We laughed and I went home to read Rayman Pirate-Community.'
Bah...

This game is such a work of beauty The character, music, gameplay... ARGH! I can't stand it Although I have a question.
Since Ubisoft decided to make Rayman Origins more like a sequel rather than a prequel, are you going to reveal the origins of Rayman and Globox's first meeting or something like that?

Indeed I am. I'll try to give lots of backstory. And thanks!
