Besides good Animation, I can't find any quality out of the show.
And to me, Animation is the least important aspect of cartoon or anime.
Story, characters and voice acting is what matters to me.

Try saying that to the people who decided that The Smurfs needed a sequel.

I did not even watch the first one so I can't speak about that.

You shouldn't watch it. No one should have watched it.

I recall it being a movie we once rented from Blockbuster, luckily, I opted not to watch it, then again, I rarely opt to watch movies these days anyways.

@sergio
Of course I respect your opinion. It is just that I as a gamer compare Animation to Video Game graphics and since I do not care for video game graphics (I care for gameplay), I also do not care that much for Animation if I have a good story, good characters, and good voice acting.
Now for Comics, It is a different case. I think that drawing is the most important aspect.

Buh people keep bitching and moaning about Invasion when really they can just not tune into Nick or anything. It's just a game cartoon fcol.

Hang on, how can animation in an animation not matter to you :?:
That's like saying the actual pencil lines in a drawing aren't important at all.

Because I mostly watch it for other aspects (Story, characters and voice acting)
Of course I know many would disagree but thats just how I see things. Sure I am happy to see when something is animated really good but first thing I notice and the thing that makes me like certin Animated series is opening song, prologue in first episode that explains what is hapenning and characters. Perfect example for this is Deltora Quest because first episode captured everything I mentioned, and much later on I started focusing on animation.

dats not smiley i use :!:

But regarding the rest of your post, fair enough - I can relate to that. When I watch a cartoon or anime, I never really expect anything besides the animation to be genuinely good. I just expect it to be quirky or funny or make me smile, and when there's one of those rare gems like Avatar: The Legend of Aang (Korra still isn't available here, for all I can tell!) that really make you go 'wow, that's actually really nice and I can see how much effort was put into this' or something absolutely mind-raping like Death Note, then that's fantastic, but generally, I don't watch cartoons for their quality. I know they're going to be crappy or mediocre at best. I watch them for their entertainment, their humour or their 'cuteness', if you will. Therefore animation comes up front in cartoons for me, because it's the one thing where most shows I compare with each other excell in or wither.

But yes, if you're looking at the genuine quality of cartoons, story, voice acting, music are all very important. I'd like you to try and find some Skyland - I enjoyed this a lot, and it's been one of the only shows I know (Avatar also being one) where the Dutch voice acting appealed to me. You may not know this, but most cartoons here use the same voice actors over and over and it gets that 'sloppy Joe we'll just slap a voice dub on it' feel to it over time. However, shows like these present themselves much better and I can appreciate a whole lot more because of it.

It's funny because you're saying animation is not an aspect in animation.

I said it is least important aspect for me, not that it is not an aspect in animation at all.

Yes he is.

-----------------

Rabbids Invasion is out, and while I'm not interested in the show at all, a guy from Destructoid actually took the chance to check it out and give his opinion.

As expected, it seems to suck.
Interestingly enough, he talks about Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures too, and has the same opinion I have about it. S' all right.

As soon as I get back to a good Internet connection, I'll watch the first episode and give my opinion on it.

Nice to hear you don't hate the new Pac-Man show Sergio. I think it's pretty good, and it will definitely be better than the Rabbids show in the long run.
