Yeah they're on there, I think you play them exclusively on the gamepad or something. Not sure if that's a great system though, I have to glue my ass to the wall closest to the Wii U if I wanna play games in my room so there's not much portable appeal.

The original 3DS can do that too actually. On the topic of virtual console, anyone think the NX'll have GameCube games on there? I'd suck some Fils-Aime cock for portable GameCube games costing 15$ each.

I don't think that many will get ported since fangamer said there's not going to be any backwards compatibility (if the rumors are true).

It seems a bit odd that they added digital Wii titles like Prime Trilogy for Wii U, but not any GameCube games.

Yeah, funny how the Wii U can be made backwards compatible thanks to the joy of homebrew.

Nintendo has been a real slowass with releasing VC titles on the Wii U, still waiting for Mario Party 3 since 2012.

I'm guessing GameCube/Wii is probably gonna be the main focus of NX's VC though, since they've been really promoting virtual console games this generation as opposed to just dumping the entire catalogue on the shop back with the Wii. It seems like they're trying to hype some of these games up to be like special releases, with ads and small updates and things.

Well, that shouldn't affect virtual console right? I remember back when virtual console was set up there was this thing going around about how GameCube games would come to the Wii U later in its lifespan but it looks like that's never gonna happen now.

I think its also too much content for nintendo to port, think about it you'll have to also add wiimote support+gamecube controller support (though that will probably happen anyways because of smash) this is not too much job for nintendo but I think they'll rather working on new games for the system, which is To be honest what I rather.

They should do like Sony and implement Cross Buy any day.
