For a minute there I was like ''whoa I don't remember posting here'' haha

If I may reply in the place of him, Revolution is a bit harder, more open and just feels much more free-roaming, the list of pluses goes on.

Emulation is slow. Especially one of relatively new console.

Maybe I can try an BIOS of an older PS2 version, if there are any.

The emulator works fine in both my Desktop PC and Laptop. However the emulator itself needs to mature a little: there are some level fragments in which the FPS low down to 40s, 30s or even 25s.

I use Windows XP Professional SP3 in my desktop computer. In my laptop I use Windows 7 Home Premium.

I never could run a ps2 emulator in Windows XP

The operating system isn't a determinant factor of the malfunction of the emulator.

Rayman Revolution isn't the same thing as the classical version.

That actually happens in the console version. It it isn't your laptop or the emulator (they could update the emulator though to be better than a ps2). I own revolution for my ps2 and it has the exact same slowdowns your talking about.
By the way, I just got rayman 2 for my dreamcast so I might do some revolution/dreamcast TGE comparison videos.

Then your PS2 must be wierd because when I play it in a real PS2, the FPS are stable in the 50.

The CD version can also, expect that appears to have problems in Windows 7 and Vista.

I already got the GOG version, I'll test after in my laptop to see if the pirate head really disappeared.
