I remember this image was shared by the official Rayman Facebook page for Halloween, this happened when the page was active after Rayman Adventures release, and as you can see it is using some assets from Rayman Adventures castle levels.
Thanks for replying, I also thought it was from Rayman Adventures, but since I saw that it was labelled as a Rayman Legends image somewhere else, I wanted to ask.
That sounds like opportunistic storytelling, but hey, maybe those two guys were actually Rayman fans after all.

Hello forum-goers, I'm looking for any drawings that Michel Ancel has drawn of Rayman characters, in particular the doodles that he has given to fans and journalists.
This is what I've got so far, does anyone have more?

Hello everyone, I've come back from the dead to share with you a couple of concept art images from Rayman 1 and 3 that a developer who has preferred to remain anonymous provided me with, please have a look!

Hello everybody, today I will be sharing with you concept art that was shared to me by artist Matteo Ceccoti through email, it's model sheet pages for the Henchman 1000
This includes art for an unused skin of a fish Henchman that was scrapped for being too different from the main model:
and here is the response where Matteo himself goes more into detail about these pieces:
That's all, I hope you enjoy it!

OMG, that's crazy. I bet that fish Henchman would have had a very funny defeat animation.

Looks a lot like the Grolgoth from R2.
It's true, it looks like something that the General would sell. I imagine that the fish Henchman has the same colors than the Grolgoth.

oh my gosh, thank you for sharing. This is why I feel like a Rayman series artbook in collaboration with the people on the teams that worked on these games is so crucial because we can see concepts like this that we never would have before. I love the production art for Henchman 1000!

I would love a full art book of the series as well, especially considering a lot of art is still kept somewhere inside of Ubisoft's vaults, if their art expos are anything to go by, but yes it really adds to my love and understanding of these games, so it was a really welcome surprise that he was willing to share it.
Really as much as I appreciate the thank you responses, it's Matteo who deserves it most.

I know that I already shared this in Rayman Archiving server and Ruburrowed, but I would still like to share this official promotional piece of art of Rabbid with Wii Remote and Nunchuk for RRR, that was promoting Wii version of the game
Someone archived the link to it back in 2006! It's a miracle that someone even bothered to archive it before, because if they didn't - this image would be lost for a long time!

Oh yeah, I remember that! I think I first saw it on pok2's site which I used to go on all the time, and I was so excited when they added a "Rayman 4 news" section! That turned out well, didn't it?
