Browsing through RPC has become less and less enjoyable over the past few months. Not only are there now way too many shitposts and dumb memes (I'm of course excluding posts made on RD), but there seem to be more and more fights as well. A few good members that I really respected left a while ago and now the forum feels like it's half spam and half way too nice people who don't do anything about it. That's really quite lonely.

Please point me to any message I wrote after record day that just reads “thank mr skeltal”, I'd love to see how I contributed to those.Pirez wrote:Well Hunch, Harpic and Eren are the biggest contributors of these kinda posts, but the one that peeved me the most was OCG's one during the argument with TamakiRayfist wrote:Because it was made by Hunch no?Pirez wrote:Count the posts after RD that just state "thank mr skeltal", there are many, the majority not in the Off-topic. I wanna keep things lighthearted because I don't wanna A. feel like I'm trying to censor people or B. get all melancholy in a "wuhh its the end guys" but come on.
... what? I mean, this literally came from nowhere; you okay Hoozang?Hoozang wrote:Wine, wine, wine, wine. Best, why don't you try water? We assure it tastes 100% to nothing.
Certainly, I just stated that I never posted a message like the ones you described in your first post, contrary to what you said in your second post.Pirez wrote:Well somebody gave Fifo and Harpic the mr skeltal rank, and it was not me (to my knowledge at least). I'm not here to call you a enabler but if the mightiest of the mighty starts a joke, it trickles down into a meme once the peasants get the hold of it.
Wow your post made me thought you were salty, I agree RPC became shit now.Drolpiraat wrote:Hey, I'm not leaving!Cairnie wrote:and it's sad that you have to goThe tone of my post may have made it sound like I was, but I'm still here (not very active, but still)
I just wanted to rant about how much I dislike the current situation here on RPC. The community has gone downhill to the point that I'm not willing to contribute to it as much as I have in the past and it seems a lot of other members feel the same way.
I'm glad to hear it - looking forward to being a part of a fun community again!Hunchman801 wrote:So, no worries, we've got this and we're almost there.
Well, I wasn't really trying to post about the state of the Rayman franchise in itself (more on how that also affects the community), but in any case, I too will still be here waiting for a better game to come.Haruka wrote:I think sucking is a strong term because while as a fan I have my less good opinions about Origins/Legends I would still definitely recommend them to platformer fans. The main problem here is that Rayman isn't in its old golden days and all we can do is hoping that better days come in future. I'll be waiting (even if it means sitted!)! All of this to say that my feelings are with you, Droolie.

And you meant Rayman sucks nowaday, it's your opinion, but I don't agree
I can't say I agree with you on that, in fact I think they may have been MORE inspired. When I first played Origins I could tell that Ancel had seen the bubblething from New Super Marioo Bro.s Wii and made the concept even better. Many of Origins running segments are also very reminiscent of titles like super meatboy, and that doesn't even include the return of old characters like Murphy, Betilla, and the Stonemen.DandyGuy wrote:>The main problem here is that Rayman isn't in its old golden days
This is true. I really wish they would have done something along the lines of Rayman 1 instead of Origins/Legends. The games are fun but seem very uninspired compare to Rayman 1-3. As for the community, I have notice it seems we got smaller but im not sure. Given Rayman is not as popular as Mario or Soinc. I have seen Rayman getting much more popular since early this year. But a "small" community isnt bad anyway. I wonder if it will take someone from the RPC to convince Ubi-Soft to make a new 3D platforming Rayman game...
I watched a little bit of that stream last night at about midnight, was that Aaron playing?Cairnie wrote:Hi, just wanna drop that I will be taking part in a charity all nighter tonight in which we will be playing games for 12 hours straight from 9PM GMT (one of which will be the Rayman Legends Kung Foot minigame) in order to raise funds for Special Effect, which builds custom gaming equipment for people with disabilities. Each person who donates will also be entered in a raffle (up to 5 tickets per person only), and info on the prizes are here.
Our Twitch page is here, while our fundraising page is here.
Thanks for looking.
We were playing Saturn Bomberman at around midnight so it was not only me and Aaron but about 6 other players at that time. Thanks for checking it out though Xen.Xenon wrote: I watched a little bit of that stream last night at about midnight, was that Aaron playing?
