I think what some people have to mind is that while we're most certainly not absolutely peaceful this is still much better than, hell even a couple of decades ago. We live in an era where most rich countries are at peace with one another and have some of the highest security out there. Does shit still happen? Yeah but it's not to the grand scale as most things of the past.

Not at all. I try to see things for totality rather than partiality. But saying the world is quite safe is also wrong.

Not at all. I try to see things for totality rather than partiality. But saying the world is quite safe is also wrong.

Due to the fact that many countries have nuclear weapons a there's a mutually assured destruction so nobody's going to use them.

There is already a big tension between North and South lately so hopefully this does not happen.

Actually, if he nuked Seoul, since Pyongyang is close to Seoul, they would receive a lot of self-damage.

Anyways, thanks for all the input about the Immigrant Crisis in Europe. I always wanted to visit but wasn't sure it would be safe there.

Here it is safe and immigrants thank police and government for not treating them like some other countries and for letting them stay how much they wish despite not having documents.

A good few years ago there was a terrorist attack in Scotland that never followed through because a Scotsman just marched right up to him and head-butt him. So I'd say we're pretty safe.

But in all seriousness, I'm not sure what the news have been saying about Europe right now but it's amazing how generous everyone has been with providing for the migrants.

didn't actually know mel gibson was scottish but then i also didn't know stephen fry was gay so i'll chalk it up to my own lack of observance o:
