Errrrm, that has (quite clearly) been dubbed over the original sound. They are not re-using any music from the first game as far as we know, although I hope the music in the new game contains elements or interpolations of music from the first game, or even remixes/remasters of the original music itself.

nice one...
notice that when asked about the platforms of the game, Michael says "it's on xbox360, ps3, wii, we recently announced 3DS and one more surprise coming..."

I think it means they'll announce another platform soon... please let it be the PC :roll: (this is the closest I found for a praying smiley)

Their hints were just hints. What if it is iPad? Wouldn't like it, but it is possible after all.

I wished that surprise would really be the PC. I also suspect Wii U.

@stan

Actually an interview with Ancel gave the feeling that the iPad version got canceled.

I'm actually happy they (seem to be) dropped the idea, because I can't imagine a gameplay like RO in a touch device. :?

I think it would be great if it was for Wii u, but that's almost imposible. The wii u will come out in the second semester of 2012. Nobody will buy in july a game that already came out in other consoles the last year (No rayman 2 references, please).

Just imagine: 2020, the stores are loaded with Rayman games. Choose between Rayman 2 or Rayman Origins... :mefiant:

We need an remake from either Rayman 3 or a collection from the trilogy.

I don't find impossible. You can see R2's example. :winkgrin:

I've made a list of new things I discovered in the interview-
• In 3:28 he confirms my theory that the "I Dare You" challenges will be collecting a certain amount of Lums, just like in R1.
• Cages will open new levels and worlds.
• The Death Medallions open a certain kind of challenge. This seems to be clashing with the information provided by the NP article, but I think it simply means that the LotD levels are special challenges.

It means "land of the dead", a level that is SUPPOSED to be the last level.
