Hmm, wasn't the Sith a prequel concept, and not something in the original trilogy?

The dark side was already established in episode 4, 5 and 6. So yeah, it already existed. The prequels just added the name.

PS : my US history is not clear, but I remember Gulf War I happened while Bush Sr. was in office and Irak during Bush Jr.'s tenure. Is there another war I'm supposed to be aware of?

I never said Trump and Jeb were good, but the reason why I dislike them less is because I am not aware any of them responsible for wars. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Other Bushes, I hate a lot and I agree they should be trialed for war crimes too, the reason why I didn't mention them now is because I don't think they are candidates for 2016 elections (correct me if I am wrong please)

Clintons should be trialed for crimes against Yugoslav people, creating a 11 years long war, causing a breakup of country into 6 different countries, and supporting the 1999 NATO agression. Over 150.000 people lost their lives from start till the end of war.
